Discussion Just seen THE MOST egregious clip on Twitter. This dude gets a Rising Rush IN TWO TIMER COUNTS solely off of how his team works.

I got 4LessKu, Legend Omega twice, nearly maxed out LF Omeg, as well as every other shadow dragon before her. I only got her on the Bardock animation.

If you guys recall, wayyy back a year and a half ago, when justifying the rework of the design philosophy of units going forward, one of the main bullet points was Identity: each Tag was supposed to have their own specialty and features, having a clear and cut niche to fill that makes them unique compared to other tags. Like Regen being good at healing etc...
#
I always found that comment funny in hindsight because they clearly never did that: rarely, if ever, would the character's tags and supposed teams influence the way they're designed and their abilities/niches, which is fair since some of said abilities are just objectively better than others, and having certain tags lack important tools simply to "keep an identity" would be a net negative for any release of said tag.
#
However, funnily enough, the ONLY tag that I can think of that was actually able to keep an identity and an iconic, recognizable gameplay, has always been Shadow Dragons of all tags.
#
Pick any Premium Shadow Dragon release and scout their kit, and you'll see something relating to dragon balls and rushes: gain a dragon ball, reduce a dragon ball, steal a dragon ball, get damage ki or cards whenever you get a dragon ball, that sorta deal. It's a really cool gimmick too, since RR becomes less like a "one match wonder" special boost and more like a second, stronger Overdrive.
#
other tags usually changed their strat overtime: Loe went from this Mono-purple wonder to just the obnoxious state it's in today, future went from basically a second God Ki team that is extremely hard to punch through to being made mostly of hybrids and being geared towards hyper-offense and don't even get me started on how many times Movies became a wholly different beast every celebration.
#
But Shadow Dragons? Ancient tag still farms rushes the old fashioned way, it's genuinely hilarious and makes every shadow Dragon release so damn memorable.

Just look at the stats Legends "deemed" necessary for this unit so it can keep up alongside the current rooster of relevant characters!
And for perspective, here are his stats when he got his Zenkai:

With his equip, his stats quite LITERALLY more then doubled.
Mind you, he got his Zenkai 13 MONTHS ago, thats basically just a bit over a year! The powercreep of this game currently is an absolute joke!
What even would be the point of e.g. rolling for your favorite character since he just recently got a banner multiple times when he most likely will get outdated in a short period of time when characters with higher stats start to drop then on?
What about people that just go for certain tags/characters and the current banners and the last few are of no interest to them because maybe the theme they represent doesn't interest them? They are now shackled to play with characters that deal no damage and tank nothing because their numbers are outdated till Legends decides to drop support for them.
Obviously, those numbers are the most relevant when playing PvP (also relevant to some degree in PvE) but I'd argue PvP is the most substantial mode in this game.

Btw yall think legends should have skins? like skins for actual units? I'm thinking summonable skins or outfits, with different currencies.

This is one of the worst raid formats ever and here's why:
1)There are less number of CC given cause if they gave a normal raid it would be 1 raid per week which would give us 1400 cc and this only gives a 1000 so they skimmed some cc again.
2)the keys are one hell to grind.
3) increased the cc medal exchange before it was less but now it's 500 medals for 100 cc for every exchange.
4)this shit is high grind low return.
5)Locking rewards behind keys and increasing the cost of exchanging the cc with overall reduced amount of CC.
