I agreed to pay $50 for a drawing, and this is what they sent me. After I agreed to $50, they told me it was now worth $150 because it took them longer than they thought it would, but would bump it down to $100 for me.

I had a literal heart attack seeing this because this the final product, and I wasn’t expecting a $50 increase after.

Am I crazy for saying this art isn’t worth $100?

A stylized portrait study inspired by Rubens’ Portrait of Isabella Brant.
I’m deeply in love with classical paintings, and they’re a constant source of inspiration in my work.
Every now and then, I like to paint studies like this. They teach me so much and always enrich my future paintings.

I originally began this piece a while ago, but I hit a wall toward the end. That final stretch is always the trickiest for me.
Over time, I’ve learned it’s okay to step away and come back with fresh eyes.

I recently had nuked all my drawings from social medias and restarted. He’re my most recent fanart c:

Not too fond of the Frieren piece. I’d like to go back and rework it

Another one of those pieces I started long ago and only now got my head around it. The goal was to study flash photography lighting and skin tones, but to make it my own. I added an ancient Mediterranean vibe through clothing and hairstyles.
I painted this over several times before I reached this result, it felt uncomfortable at times because the rendering was a bit different than how I usually handle it.

Pinkie is about to make some delicious cupcakes!

Hey! I redrew this yesterday using my 2024 piece as a base. I changed the vibe a little, but honestly, I like how it turned out. I’ll revisit it again at the end of next year to check my progress😎 I’d love to know what you guys think about it:)
