Help How do I delete my app from Devvit?

Hi! I'm the developer of a Devvit app and I've archived it, but I want to delete it completely. I can't find a delete option on the app page. How can I delete an app, and what happens to its installs when I do?

You can archive your app (General > About this app > Archive) on your App page, after that you can remove yourself from the mod list in mod tools. Also, is your app published to reddit apps?

That's the thing - i am not longer a mod there. It was only present in 1 sub where I was the mod.

I have already archived it. And yes it's published. I just want to delete it from the reddit servers for now.

Deleting it wont be completely possible. the only thing you can do is uninstall it from all the subs and archive it. If they are installed in subs you are not a mod of then you can send a modmail requesting for the removal of the app. once it is removed from all the subs i think there is nothing much to do then.

Also can you confirm whether you are able to search your app after archiving it

EDIT: have you tried running the below command

devvit uninstall <subreddit> [app-name]

It should give you some error as you are not mod but still you can t.ry

We didn't really part on good terms so I was reluctant to mail them. Hence I was looking for other options

And yes it can't be seen anymore after I have archived it.

I have edited my comment, pls have a look.

Also, its your app and you can atleast send a modmail stating your reason that why you want the removal. if they don't react then you need to take action and contact the reddit admins.
