Starting a couple a days ago surpassing something like 10-20 requests (that's including ajax) per minute results in 403 error for ten or more minutes.

Basically you can barely upload one picture or open notifications before it browns out. Makes the website nearly unusable.

Is anybody else experiencing this or am I the only lucky one?

I don't know what to do ? Its is a real thing ?

What hypothetical DEVIANTART rebrand basically an mix of classic and Eclipse looks like?

I don't know what's going on. The day DeviantArt went down due to the security issue, when it came back online there was a significant increase in my notifications.

However, these last two days activity seems to have plummeted, and that's noticeable both in the views I'm getting and in my notifications.

Is this related to the algorithm, or is it a combination of other reasons?

I just posted on my account and not a second after I did I got this wall of text 'Claiming' to be from the DA Team that theres Unusual activity. I'm 99.999 % sure its utter BS but I just wanted to make sure. (Im a very infrequent poster)

Okay, so let me explain the situation.

I am currently trying to recover an old account I made back in 2019, but lost access to back in 2021. I forgot the password to it, and the email it's attached to is a school email that's been disabled since mid-2021.

I decided to contact account recovery services on October 10, and provided the specific info they needed. 5 days later, they responded and told me to get a code for 2FA, but since then the account recovery service hasn't gotten back to me yet about my email recovery.

At the time of writing this, it's October 27 where I am, and I'm still waiting for a response from them. Is it normal to have to wait this long? And if so, how long do I usually have to wait nowadays before I eventually get my account back?

This is COMPLETELY REVOLTING !!!!

I tried a lot of times in to change my password, because I always ended lost my password or my account simply logout without my permission . Everytime that I send a new email for to change my password , this shit website doesn't allow to confirm my NEW PASSWORD . I passed more times in to try to change my password , and NOTHING.... !!!!! #REVOLTING #DEVIANShit #TRASHWEBSITE

I have this problem for days, essentially, when I try to go to DeviantArt, it shows me this screen despite being connected to the internet.

(I'm currently using Brave, I tried to remove Brave Shields but nothing, I tried on other browsers, Firefox and Google, and again, nothing, tried refreshing the page and once again, nothing)

Is it a problem of the browser, the connection or something else?

This is my Baldi's Basics OC named Minus (or Mr. Minus or Mr. M). He is similar to Baldi, but he wears a blue/light blue long-sleeved shirt, red pants, light brown belt with silver/gray buckle, and light brown shoes. His appearance is light skinned, skinny fingers, red lips, and three light brown strands of hair on his head. The main signature item he has is large scissors. His full name is Minus Samson Bart. His first name is Minus (or Mr. Minus or Mr. M). His personality when first meeting him is he is a friendly, helpful, teacher assistant, but his actual personality is that he is actually sadistic, and evil. His dark secret is he is actually a most wanted killer/most wanted murderer (no one was able to find out that Minus was the/a killer, a murderer). His dislikes is dull scissors, the police, and anyone who harms cats and kittens. He has a soft spot for cats and kittens (he's basically a cat person/cat lover. He likes cats and kittens). He has a black cat named Panther. Panther is a lazy cat, but he is Minus's partner in crime/little sidekick (Panther is a black cat with light blue eyes and has lil fangs). One of Minus's private hobbies when he's alone and just relaxing is watching cat videos, pampering Panther. One of his private hobbies when doing yk is committing his secret crimes, sharpening his main item aka large scissors, and stalking and planning. One of his public hobbies (in his friendly teacher assistant persona) is sketching/drawing, reading in the library, and going on walks. If any of his victims pretends to be a cat lover/cat person (well he'll know. He can see the signs. Yk), he can tell the difference between a genuine cat lover/cat person to a liar trying to save their own skin.

My only subscription tier is “Unrestricted access to all content” yet I see my subscribers also buying galleries (right after subscribing). Is it truly ALL content or just non-premium stuff? I’d like to have subscribers have access to everything .

Hey there. I have an alt deviantart account where I hire artists to make art for me. I was wondering if reposting the same piece would do anything, not as a substitute for new art, but simply to help me in the algorithm. The money I pay isn't pocket change but far from anything that would break the bank, and I'm trying to make the most of what I got.

Usually, it takes 7 days for new earnings to become available for withdrawal; since when has it become 8 days?

My account has been deactivated 2-3 days ago. I don't do it and after 48 hours reactivating button didn't appear.

I wrote emails to DA team, they send tipical email, which I answered. And after that i don't get any email from them. What I have to do?I have almost 1,8k subscribers and 200 deviants. I couldn't backup all my deviations, so they will gone forever. I want to save my page.

i've been on DA for 17 years and never had this problem! My image is just of an academic book featuring an old Indian Monument. i tried changing the file name, remove ex_f data even change the picture's format. But i keep getting this error.

What is wrong?? Why is this "unacceptable"?? There's no explanation.

EDIT: i only wanted to upload this here so that i could directly link to the stock image as attribute. But i don't think it's worth the hassle now. i already have this uploaded on my portfolio in Artstation. Obviously i can't link anything there, so i just mentioned the photographer's name. Ultimately though, the book cover i made, is out there, ready to be printed as the author's next edition regardless of whether DA likes it or not!

So, thank you everyone for the good chuckles and some genuine convos regarding the current state of DA.

I visited the site while logged out and searched for "wendigo." Out of 24 results, only 2 were human-made artworks. The other 22 were AI slop. I couldn't see any more results while logged out.
