My favorite desire paths in Leuven.

In the first picture you see the double desire path used by many cyclist to make some ground gain when entering the open field. (No banana, so human for scale.)

In the second screenshot you can see the trajectory of the two desire paths in the top corner, as well as a third one crossing E-W. This last one has been adopted by the city with the application of gravel over its whole length.
