Thirty years have passed since the Pale Wars ended and the Battle of Defiance. Now, a new generation has taken up the hunt for the technology left behind by fallen arks. In a world rewritten by alien technology, advanced tracking systems can now pinpoint the exact trajectory of incoming Ark Falls, turning every single discovery into a brutal race for survival. Whoever reaches the crash site first claims the technology, and everyone else will do whatever it takes to take it from them.

Across the islands of southern California, rival factions and uneasy alliances wage an endless war for control of the arks. At the center of this conflict is Varus Soleptor, the ruthless market kingpin who controls the satellite networks and leases out the tracking technology. By enforcing a strict monopoly through invasive neural implants, Varus ensures that all recovered tech is sold directly to him, and he does not care who bleeds to bring it in.

Caught in the middle of this capitalist crossfire is Angel Ark, a sovereign neutral haven ruled by Mayor Ara Shondu, who uses the influx of trade to build a new coastal empire. At the heart of her city sits Club Defiance, a notorious nightclub that serves as the ultimate crossroads for the West Coast underworld. Under a strict house rule of checking all weapons at the door, bitter enemies are forced to sit at the same card tables, drink, and gamble together in a fragile peace, completely unaware of when their eyes will flash with Varus's next on-demand drop coordinates, forcing them right back out onto the lethal highways.

For anyone who wants to watch Defiance on Peacock but doesn’t want to pay for a subscription, Instacart currently offers a 30-day free trial that includes Peacock.

After signing up for the Instacart trial, you’ll need to activate your Peacock membership through their website. Once it’s activated, you can watch all three seasons of Defiance.

Thirty days should be more than enough time to binge all three seasons, with plenty of time left over to check out some other shows on Peacock too.

Just remember to cancel the trial before it renews if you don’t want to be charged.

I remember there was a way to do solo runs for co op maps the vanilla ones before. I noticed it's not a thing any more. Anyone out there know of easy work arounds? Or if Fawkes is going to update that as a thing again?
