Die Künstlergruppe SchuppenArt lädt auch 2026 zur traditionellen Kerbausstellung im Rahmen der Oarhelljer Kerb ein. Die Vernissage findet am Donnerstag, den 29.10.2026, 20:00 Uhr, in der Scheunengalerie auf Zeit der Familie Günther, Messeler Straße 43, 64291 Darmstadt-Arheilgen, statt.

Freuen Sie sich auf Arbeiten von Natalia Danesy, Birgit Freisleben, Uli Gasper, Ute Irmischer-Lehn, Uwe Köster, Peter Kunkel, Kaja Martin, Tina Ritter, Karin Rothmer und Nora Schaefer. Die SchuppenArt-Künstler:innen zeigen abstrakte und realistische Malerei, Skulpturen, Objekte aus unterschiedlichen Materialien sowie Glas- und Lichtobjekte. Am Eröffnungsabend gibt es zusätzlich Musik durch den Percussionisten Kojo sowie eine Performance.

im Zeitraum von 14:00 bis 22:00 Uhr wurde gestern (25.10.2026) am Friedensplatz in Darmstadt im Parkhaus in das Auto meiner Freundin eingebrochen, in der meine Kleidung lag. Dabei wurden mehrere meiner Kleidungsstücke entwendet (Gesamtwert ca. 1.000 €). Die Polizei ist informiert, allerdings stehen die Chancen eher schlecht. Da es sich bei einigen Stücken um Geschenke meiner Familie handelt, hänge ich neben dem hohen materiellen Schaden vor allem emotional sehr an den Sachen.

Not a guided hike.

Not therapy.

Not a networking event.

More like:

• Why do we see faces in clouds?
• Why do distant views feel calming?
• Why do some songs get stuck in our heads for days?
• Why is our brain so easily fooled by optical illusions?
• What everyday things do we completely misunderstand?

No prior knowledge needed. No pressure to participate. No right or wrong answers.

The goal isn't to learn in a formal sense. It's simply to spend a couple of hours thinking about something completely different from work, news, responsibilities, and daily routines.

But few weeks ago a guy from Vodafone came and said that they are discontinuing my plan and I have to upgrade. But sensing a scam I told him I was busy and told him to come later. Few days later another guy came and said that same thing so I decided to upgrade. But now I have doubts if it was a scam. Does anyone else have this experience? Is it a scam or are they really discontinuing the plan?

Hello, I am currently at the end of a trip with my last stop being Darmstadt.
I am supposed to attend the game against St.Pauli today but as I am currently travelling, I have 2 bags with me which won’t be allowed in the stadium.
The lockers at the HBF are full and I found no place to store them for the duration of the game.
Also, I am unsure I can leave them somewhere at the stadium during the game.

mein Hyundai i40 CW (Schalter, 2012) hat leider keinen TÜV bekommen. Es müssen einige größere Sachen gemacht werden (Kupplungssatz, Achslager/ Buchsen, Spurstangen/Axialgelenke, Bremsbelage und die Lenkrad-Flexkupplung).
Ich suche eine günstige, aber zuverlässige freie Werkstatt in Darmstadt oder Umgebung, die solide Arbeit leistet.
Wenn jemand eine preiswerte Werkstatt außerhalb empfehlen kann (z.B. im Industriegebiet Weiterstadt/ Sammelgebiet/Umkreis Darmstadt), bin ich dafür vollig otten, solange die Reparaturkosten tair und gunstiger sind.

I wake-up everyday and apply to like 50 positions, but don't even get a reply, let alone rejection. I study right now and am looking for a Teilzeit position or a minijob.
