Slowed it down and watched. He's doing a tiny hop/skip with the foot that is on the ground. Pretty smooth!

He's ridiculously subtly and skilfully jumping with his back foot on every rotation. It really needs to be slowed do to be appreciated.

I slowed it down and he whenever the rope comes to the foot thats on the ground he lifts his toes on that foot and then when the rope is below his foot he quickly presses his toes down and lifts the back of his foot.
