Hello TDS folks... Would be very thankful if someone can share the cultural reference behind Jon waving his hand with a lit lighter in his hand... During the Nicki Minaj segment from the most recent episode

I kinda understood that it was sort of a sarcastic gotcha / mic drop moment ( or I maybe wayyy off track) but would really want to learn the context.

Thanks in advance! 🙏

Surprised when I saw this, as it looks pretty "gen. AI" to me, and I thought the show would be in the "AI slop bad" camp. But I could be wrong.

Audience member last night. Can’t remember at what point this might have been said, could have been something like “do Sharia law” … but as a moniker for the MAGA political project, it fits perfectly. Did anyone else hear it?

...mean that we will see Jon Stewart on air 5 days a week?
If so, I'm now a big supporter of RTO.
