Hey everyone!

I run a YouTube channel focused on "edutainment" and retro history—diving into the technology, video games, commercials, pop culture and mysteries from the 1970s through the mid 2000s.

I have a mountain of video ideas that I need to turn into actual videos, and that's where you come in! I'm looking to bring on a talented video editor on a retainer basis (essentially, working together whenever I have a new project ready for the editing phase).

How we'll work together:
While we'll get into the weeds during an interview, I want to be upfront about the workflow. I like to give you creative control over the project, but I will always guide you on the specific aesthetic or vibe I'm aiming for. I also typically choose the music, though I'm always open to your input! Because I care so much about these videos, I am not a totally "hands-off" creator. I want this to be a collaborative process where we work together to make the best video possible.

The Details:
- Budget: $150 per video. I expect the finished product to be well worth the price tag, and I am happy to pay for quality.
- Payment Terms: A small deposit will be made upfront, with the remaining balance paid immediately upon completion of the video.
- Payment Method: PayPal ONLY! (No exceptions on this, please).

My requests & requirements for the role:
- You must be based in North America (Eastern Time Zone is highly preferred!).
- You must speak perfectly fluent English.
- You must be willing to hop on a proper Discord interview with me so we can make sure we're a great fit for each other.
- You must be willing to sign a standard engagement agreement for your services, which I will provide.

If this sounds like a great fit and you're interested in tackling some fun retro topics with me, please shoot me a DM or drop your reel/portfolio below. I’d love to see what you can do! If this doesn’t interest you, or you don’t meet the requirements, don’t even bother to reply…

Thanks!

Hey everyone!

I'm a video editor looking to build my portfolio, and I'm currently looking for creators who have raw footage that needs editing.

If you like my editing style and feel we're a good fit, I'd be happy to discuss working together long-term.

If you have any raw footage you'd like me to work on, feel free to DM me!

I'd love to connect and see what we can create together.

If you have a topic for a video or article but still need to gather the background material, I can help put it into a usable research brief.

We’d agree the question and depth first. You’d receive a document with relevant source links, notes on the main facts, and a suggested outline. Conflicting information or unanswered questions would be marked clearly, so you can see what still needs checking.

I’ve worked on my own social media projects and used Canva. This offer is for the research and organisation behind the content; you keep control of the script and publication.

I’m based in Australia and work remotely through written briefs and feedback. My rate is A$35/hour, with an agreed spending cap before work begins.

Message me here with the topic, intended audience and deadline. Please use public information when describing the project initially.

Hello Reddit Fam! 👋

Most short-form scripts fail because they are written for readers, not viewers.

I specialize in writing fast-paced, high-retention visual scripts (Reels, Shorts, TikTok) that generated 15M+ organic views for creators and brands.

The 3-Part Script Framework I Use:

0–4s Hook: Pattern interrupt to freeze scrolling instantly.

04–45s Core Value: High visual pacing cues (B-rolls, Text overlays, SFX cues alongside speech).

45–60s Smooth Payoff + CTA: High-converting transition.

What I provide in every production script:

Precise Timestamps (0–60s)

Visual & Editing Cues (Camera angles, B-Rolls, Text Overlays, SFX)

Conversational Audio (Hinglish / English Voiceover Script)

💰 Pricing & Terms:

Retainer Packages: ₹25k – ₹30k/month (Batch scripts + visual/editing directions)

Terms: 50% Advance to start the project.

Hey everyone!

I'm looking to work with small content creators who need help editing their YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or other short-form content.

I'm still a beginner and don't have much professional experience yet, but I can handle basic editing according to your requirements and preferred style.

Right now, my main goal is to build my portfolio, gain experience, and improve my editing skills rather than earn money. So, I'm happy to collaborate with creators who are just starting out, too.

If you're interested or need someone to help with your short-form content, feel free to DM me!

Looking forward to working with you all

Hey guys,

This could be a really good opportunity for any intermediate to advanced editors who have some free time and want to make some extra money on the side.

The base pay is $8 per video. I know that might not sound like a lot at first glance, but there is honestly no limit to how many you can do. If you knock out 5 a day that is an easy $40 a day, plus bonuses and the potential for long term work if you do well.

If you know your way around editing, these 20 to 30 second videos are pretty straightforward and barely take 30 to 40 minutes to make once you get the flow down.

If you want to apply, please fill out this Google form:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScjHTg15qLZ7-LhhaYG3Oo35zgdqZRRqpm4yTt0QcLXrt7g3Q/viewform

Also payment will be done through Wise, so please make sure you have that set up and ready to accept payments.

Thanks a lot for reading, looking forward to seeing your work.

Hey everyone, I’m ShortByHabeeb.

I turn long-form content (streams, podcasts, YouTube videos) into high-retention short clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

What you get:
- Strong hook in the first 2 seconds
- Clean captions + zoom cuts
- Formatted for short-form platforms

**Rate:**
- First clip is completely FREE
- After that: $10–15 per clip (or $15/hr)

I’m just starting and looking for my first clients, so I’m offering the first clip free. If you like the quality, we can continue.

Just comment or DM me a link to one of your videos/streams and I’ll make you a free sample.

Thanks!
