Is there a new Halloween watch face for COROS this year? 🎃

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if COROS has released a new Halloween-themed watch face this year?

I’ve been checking the watch face options but haven’t seen anything new yet. Just wondering if there’s a new Halloween watch face coming soon, or if I somehow missed it.

Thanks!

lap alerts when running a runna training plan

can I set up lap pace alerts when running a runna training plan through my coros pace 4? I know you can set up a pace alert by distance or position through the auto lap feature. but in any given run I can have multiple different lap lengths split up by rest periods and the pace alerts become irrelevant. i’d love a feature where you can automatically set pace alerts at the end of any lap, no matter what variables have changed.

how do lap pace alerts work when running one of coros’s built in plans? my current runna plan is about to end and considering my options as i’ve found porting over runna training plans to be clunky.

MY COROS PACE 3 BROKE ALL OF THE SUDDEN. [UPDATE]

I have been in contact with coros for my watch problems. And they sent me the Coros pace 4 since they finished the Coros Pace 3. (Mine was the pace 3).

So I feel very happy and satisfied with how Coros handled this problem. Thanks for everything I have made this update for the people that want to know what happened

PACE 3 🎽 My COROS PACE 3 is having multiple issues, and I’m losing confidence in COROS

My COROS PACE 3 is having multiple issues, and I’m losing confidence in COROS
I’ve had my COROS PACE 3 for less than two years, and I use it for running and swimming. I genuinely loved the watch and its user experience, but over the past week, I’ve started experiencing several frustrating issues.
Severe battery drain: The battery is draining much faster than usual, even when I’m not recording any activities. As you can see in the screenshot, I charged it to 100% and went to sleep, but the battery usage was unusually high.
Touchscreen issues: The touchscreen started freezing and sometimes stops responding completely.
Heart rate sensor problems: The heart rate sensor only seems to work when I’m recording an activity.
Random restarts: Sometimes the watch restarts by itself.
Strange noise: I occasionally hear a strange electronic sound coming from the charging contact area while I’m wearing the watch, even when it’s not connected to a charger.
All these problems have started recently, and honestly, I’m getting tired of dealing with them.
I really liked COROS and was happy with the overall experience, but having so many issues with a watch that’s not even two years old has made me question its reliability.
I’m now seriously considering switching to Garmin, even though I used to really enjoy using COROS.
Has anyone experienced similar issues with the PACE 3? Could this be a software problem, or does it sound more like a hardware failure? I’d appreciate any advice before deciding whether to switch to Garmin.

Is there any way to get rid of the option to just start this instead of picking the body part? I always end up forgetting to select one. Plus I manually add the sets afterwards it takes too much time durring the session

Coros Repair Program

I have had my Coros watch for about 2 years and absolutely love it. No complaints at all—until recently. I got into a cycling accident which shattered my watch (as well as a couple bones...). I reached out to Coros about getting a repair. For ~$80 USD, you can trade in your broken but functional watch for a refurbished one. Sounds great. Except the process takes forever, and I've now been sans watch for 3 weeks...

First, it took several days for the "repair team" to even approve the repair, despite the support team always getting back to my emails immediately, asking for patience. Then, I dropped the package off at the post office with the label they provided, and again wait several days for it to be delivered to their warehouse. Now, it was delivered 5 days ago, but as far as I can tell, the replacement has not been shipped—again waiting for the repair team to review and approve.

All the while, I can't train as effectively as the Coros app does not automatically import with my Strava-tracked activities, which also (obviously) lack heart rate data, making Coros unable to estimate effort/training loads. Gah!! I love love love this brand, but this repair process is really a headache.

Apex 4 (Satisfy) battery drain is accelerating. Any ideas?

New to Coros. New to this watch. I've had it for a month. Always the same GPS settings.

The watch began the month by ticking down from a full charge at 1-3% per day, depending on if or how long I ran. It has never ticked down more than 3% in a day, even with 8-10 mile runs. I watched it religiously because it's new to me and I wanted to make note of the battery life as it was a selling point... I don't do much with it beyond a check of the temp, a glance at the time, and a run generally every other day.

Last night I charged it to 100% and it's already down to 90% today. I just looked at my watch face and was shocked to see that it had already dropped by that much. No runs, just sitting on my wrist.

My app had a hard time syncing with the watch this morning. The app sync just kept spinning. I ultimately disabled and restarted the bluetooth on my iPhone - and even then it took another 30 more seconds for the app to connect. I'm not saying that had anything to do with it, just a small point on the curve.

I'm seeing a million posts of varying degrees about possible resets and charging for an add'l time after 100%, etc.

But I'm wondering if anyone has had any similar experience with this particular Apex 4, or with a Coros in general. Nothing in my use would have kicked the battery drain 3-10x what it's been. And I can't imagine it's already lost that much of it's efficacy?

Thanks for any insight - - -

Alarm on Home Screen

I don’t know if I’m alone in this but as someone who uses their watch for an alarm EVERY DAY it would be a game changer to be able to show the next day’s alarm on the watch face. I know this is basically asking what everyone wants (to be able to customize the data fields on the watch face) but having the alarm there would reduce daily fiction of using the watch so much. Coros please!!

Question ❓ Guides to Customising the Watches and Hidden Features

I have an original Pace Pro and I use the main running features primarily. I owned Garmins and they typically have a booklet or an online guide with hundreds of pages to show you how to use the watch.

Is there something equivalent to that from Coros? Something like a guidebook or complete guides that I can start to customise my watch further to my own likings or learn new hidden features that my watch can do.

General Discussion Looking for beta testers for CorosLink mobile app

Post image
52 Upvotes

Hey everyone! I’m the developer behind CorosLink, and I’m looking for people to help test its mobile companion, C-LINK, on iPhone and Android.

The app brings together training insights and custom watch faces. Here’s what you can try:

  • Training and recovery: sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, training load and fitness trends, with comparisons against your own baseline.
  • Activity details: routes, splits, heart rate zones, and muscle maps for strength workouts.
  • Watch faces: browse community designs and install them directly over Bluetooth on compatible watches.
  • Morning reports and iPhone widgets: see your sleep, recovery and planned training without digging through multiple screens.
  • Coach: connect to CorosLink running on your computer to ask questions about your training and draft workouts or plans.

It’s still in beta, so there will be rough edges. I’d really appreciate feedback on everyday use: what’s useful, what’s confusing, and anything that doesn’t work with your particular watch or phone.

Join the beta: Visit coroslink.com/mobile for iPhone and Android beta access.

C-LINK is an independent project and isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by COROS. Watch-face support varies by model, and Coach requires the desktop app running.

If you try it, please include your phone and watch model with any bug reports. I’d love to hear what you’d want from a COROS companion app, too.

Question ❓ Does the Personalized Marathon Training Plan adjusts pace as fitness improves?

I’m currently following the COROS Personalized Marathon Training Plan, which prescribes specific paces for my workouts rather than using heart-rate targets.

I’m wondering what happens if the prescribed paces start to feel too easy. For example, if I consistently run faster than the prescribed pace while maintaining a comfortable effort and my heart rate suggests I could do more, will COROS eventually recognize this and adjust the paces for my upcoming workouts?

I know COROS EvoLab can update pace zones and race predictions based on training data, but I’m specifically curious whether these updates also affect the prescribed paces in an existing plan, or whether the plan sticks to its original targets unless I manually change my goal time or create a new plan.

For those who have used this plan for a while, have you noticed your prescribed paces getting faster as your fitness improves? Or do they remain relatively fixed throughout the training block?

No charger works

Coros is testing my patience. I have a Pace 3. I try to charge it with the charger it comes with and it doesn’t work consistently. I try to charge it with the flat charger they sell and it doesn’t work consistently. So tired of waking up for my morning run and finding out my watch didn’t charge overnight. Anyone have any charging hacks to get these things to work consistently?

Coros.. How is displaying SECONDS still a limitation

I’m considering purchasing the APEX 4, but there’s one ridiculously simple feature that has me second-guessing COROS entirely.

Being able to see the actual time of day down to the SECOND at any given moment I want. If I’m spending $500 on a watch I should have the luxury of looking down to see the exact second of the time of day. Like, 3:00:33, not just 3:00.

From what I understand, certain COROS watch faces display seconds temporarily when you activate the screen, but they disappear after a few seconds. There just is not enough info on this.

I’m open to Coros and seconds don’t have to be on display 24/7. I just want the ability to check the exact time, down to the second, whenever I want.
For a company producing premium GPS watches with advanced training metrics, navigation, and incredible battery life, this seems like such a basic feature to overlook.
I’m coming close to pulling the trigger on a Garmin Enduro 2 instead, partly because of this.

Am I missing something, or does anyone else find this frustrating?

PACE 3 🎽 COROS PACE 3 "Please connect to PC to upgrade the firmware"

My COROS PACE 3 suddenly ran out of battery, and after I charged it, this screen appeared. I’ve already tried holding the lap button for 12 seconds, but the screen just goes blank instead of showing the COROS logo. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

Pace 4 vs Pace 4 Pro vs Garmin Epix Pro (current watch)

I’m thinking about switching to a Coros. I currently have a Garmin epix pro (47mm), but i don’t like how slow/ buggy it feels sometimes. And i don’t like how heavy it feels. I also had a garmin forerunner 245 which i actually liked more as my current watch, it just gelt simpler. I feel like garmin has a lot of bloatware and useless stats which i never use. And it looks like Coros is just more focused on running.

Which watch would you recommend a pace 4 or the new pace 4 pro. As i see the pace 4 and pro version do pretty much the same, but the pro has better hardware. But here the pace 4 cost €269 and the pro cost €449. So is it actually worth that? At the moment i train for (half) marathons in like 1:20u (half) and 2:53u (marathon) and run like 80km a week or more if training for a marathon. So i do want a watch which i don’t have to charge a lot.

Btw does Coros offer student discount in the netherlands since i don’t see it on there website. Because i saw in the US it is like 20% which is kinda a lot and i still study so would be nice of its also in the netherlands.
