Safety ⛑ Hard hat
What hard hat do you guys favor? I was looking at one of the Kleins but wanted to hear your recommendations. The ratcheting head gear is a must for me.

Fibre metal was my go to always until I had to get a type 2. Comfy, light, and has the ratcheting strap. I had a klien in both full brim and non. Found them less comfortable and heavier than fibre metal.

klein full brim sits noticeably front-heavy compared to the fibre metal, especially once you add a headlamp to it

Whatever the company supplies or pays for. I personally like my Kask Superplasma HD. Very light weight and comfortable. And has good ventilation to stay relatively cool. Purchased on the company card. They have both Studson and Milwaukee at the shop for guys. Both are pretty decent too. Milwaukee has a bunch of clip on accessories. Might be my next shell with the powered cooling fan available.

Studson. The company provided ones aren't what I like and I can afford 100 dollars every few years for something I use 8 to 12 hours a day.

I have a Klein, it's the most comfortable one that I've used personally but I know there are other popular brands that I have not tried. My Klein headlamp clips right into it which is convenient.

I have a Klein safari brim and I love it. I have the light and Klein ear muffs on it. It’s the cats ass

SkullGard, I bought it because I couldn't stand wearing a cheap one anymore. Comfortable all day!
Seems like most jobs are pushing for the type 2 with the chin strap, but the best price I found was on the Milwaukee.

I like the Klein because of the rechargeable headlamp. The harness is also easy to remove and wash and adjustable.
However, the rubber padding on the part that ratchets to the back of your head broke off in under a year.
