If you have a Costco membership, they have free delivery, installation, and haul off of the old appliance. They also usually extend the manufacturer's warranty for free.

I'm not from the US πŸ˜… I've got a good deal, including delivery, installation and haul off from a local shop πŸ™‚

That's awesome. I'm actually debating this exact issue with the exact appliance. The oven on my range hasn't worked in months, and here comes Thanksgiving. Boo!

Hell yeah, sometimes making the decision is the hardest part. Hope you feel a little lighter now.

Going 5 months without a proper stove or oven sounds incredibly restrictive and frustrating. Pulling the trigger on a big purchase can bring up a lot of hesitation, but you have the funds, you earned the comfort, and you deserve a functioning kitchen. Enjoy cooking your first meal in it!

I've lived a pretty poor life for many years. being able to afford stuff is something peetty recent for me and I'm still hesitating

Darling,  one step at a time. Remember something, you deserve it if you earned it. And you have 100% earned to reap the reward of working close and carefully with your money and growing your savings. You deserve to have the luxury of having access to something that for most others would be considered a basic household/kitchen appliance. You know deep down you have earned the excitement and your reward is massive and it is a lot of money, but it is also an investment  Lots of love

On the day it gets installed, you should (in my opinion) treat yourself to your favorite home cooked meal utilizing that new appliance. Sit back and enjoy your meal while admiring the shiny new kit. Anyway, congrats.

You needed it, you can afford it, and you saved for things like this. You have nothing to feel guilty about. You deserve to make your life a little easier OP...

The stove was never the hard part, the deciding was. Five months of it, and you won the boring fight.
