So we've had guest soloists for a bunch of songs in past repertoires, including a professional euphonium player for "Blue Bells Of Scotland", a flutist for "Aires De Pampa", and a bunch of trumpetists for "Bugler's Holiday" and literally every time we've done that, the band is so overpowering you can barely hear the solos! We've played over TRUMPETS if that gives you any idea of just how loud we are. I remember when we played Blue Bells, and we could barely hear the euphonium guy, making us miss a bunch of our cues, and it was disastrous. Curious to see if this had happened to anyone else
