Vegas LAN Tier Chart (Updated): All 40 Teams
Hey everyone,
Here’s an updated version of my Vegas tier chart, now including TAP’s (The Apex Podcast) prediction episode with JHawk. Thanks again to the hosts and guests, whose previews are the basis for all of this: TheApexPodcast
If you’re new to competitive Apex, or just want a quick sense of who’s strong going into Vegas, I hope this is useful to have open while you watch. The tiers are my own reading of the five episodes.
What the icons mean (counted across the four hosts):
- ⭐ Top 5: a host put them in their predicted top five.
- 👑 Picked to win: a host predicted them to win the event.
- 🌙 Dark horse: not an obvious contender, but a team that could surprise everyone and go deep.
- 🃏 Wild card: could win the whole thing or crash out early; huge highs and lows.
What changed since the first version:
- World Wide moved up to gold: two hosts picked them as their dark horse, and JHawk put them in his top five.
- Alliance moved up: JHawk had them 3rd, the only EMEA team in anyone’s top five.
- Wolves moved down to purple: WenXx couldn’t get a visa, so Floating is subbing.
- Blue tier renamed: blue is now “Finals hopefuls”.
- Org changes: SSS is now NRG and BANDITS is now Paravision.
- Visa issues: a few players have reported problems; they’re marked with * on the chart.
Red tier change: red now includes AT LEAST one team per group and per region, picked as the strongest contender for each. It’s my choice rather than the hosts’, which is why ZETA, Alliance and RRQ sit above E36 despite fewer host picks.
Things are moving fast with visas and subs, so treat this as a snapshot as of Oct 27.
Which team do you think is in the wrong tier? And who’s your dark horse?
