Cold season is here in Poland, time for the right outfit.
Cold weather is back in Poland, so it's time me to bring out the Redskins gear. FORZA REDSKINS 🇮🇹

Possible Hot take: if the league is adding more international games or extending the season than there should be more bye weeks! I'm okay with not watching football for a couple of weeks out of the season. The reason is just like all of you, minus (he who should not be named) we have a life outside of football. But I know nothing will change unless the league pockets are hit. But am I crazy or are there others like me who think this way?

There is much talk about DQ’s future. But shouldn’t we be talking about (GM Adam) Peters too? One, his drafts and trades have been subpar, and two, failing to address — or overrating — the secondary and O-line is GM malpractice. We just don’t have the talent to overcome the myriad in-game mistakes (that are mostly on the coaches) and perpetual injuries (should we talk about the training staff, too?). I know (Ron) Rivera and (Dan) Snyder left the cupboard empty, but it’s been three years now. Accountability across the board is a requisite. — F B
It’s fair to question the roster construction. I have. As you mentioned, this group does not seem built to withstand the injuries and self-inflicted mistakes that pop up week after week. And granted, the Commanders have dealt with a lot of injuries. But so have many other teams — some with more total injuries and more impactful injuries. The good ones find ways to overcome the losses.
The offensive line has been among the team’s more glaring issues after it released center Tyler Biadasz early in the offseason and never filled his role with another veteran or created any real competition for the starting job. The team said for months that it was confident in Nick Allegretti, but replaced him after only two starts with a veteran (Lucas Patrick) it signed days earlier. Not saying they were wrong to move on, but you do wonder if there was more they could have done to create a viable competition at center.

Falcons fan coming to the game from Baltimore with no car. What is the best way to get to the Washington and then the stadium? Amtrak looks like it might be the easiest. If I did that how much time do I need to allow to get back to the train station after the game? Also what are must do/mist see game day items? Thanks

Like this should be a nice win to get us back in division race . No way should Dan Quinn and our guys come out the bye and lose this game. Nothing is a guarantee especially for this team but man… cmon lol

I was listening to the Ballers podcast on my way home from work when they went through the possible landing spots for Jonathan Taylor.
After some extremely preliminary research, why couldn't the Commanders make a move for him?
They currently have Bill, Rachaad White, Jeremy McNichols and Austin Ekeler under contract for roughly $5 million and none of those backs are game changers on their own.
They have about $25 million in cap space and Taylors' contract is about $16.2 million, so the numbers would work.
The Commanders are in last place in a very weak NFC East and have Daniels on his rookie deal through next season and he is as healthy as he is going to be for the foreseeable future. They also have an entire array of picks to move for the next two seasons, so the ammunition is available.
If they were to attempt this move, the value of their picks would seemingly go down from the top of the draft to the bottom of the draft rather quickly.
I'm not a fan of the team, nor do I dislike them, but it seems like a good fit for both franchises with upside for either depending on the performance of the team moving forward.
Thoughts?

I made 2 trades as if they were prior to the trade deadline, Commanders traded Daron Payne and pick 105 and would pay his whole 2026 salary to the Jaguars for Brian Thomas Jr and pick 172, Jaguars need a DT badly and are a playoff team that is trying to win now. Commanders traded Stefon Diggs to the Chiefs for pick 132 since they badly need WR help and are making a playoff push to try and win now. Commanders are willing to eat both players 2026 salaries in order to get the best reasonable pick back.
I made 1 trade during the draft to position myself better to get two immediate contributors at positions of need instead of just 1. I traded picks 68 and 141 for picks 82 and 100.
Pick 4: Leonard Moore, he's by far the best CB in the draft and one of the biggest positions of need for the Commanders.
Pick 36: David Stone was one of the highest rated players available and the Commanders need a DT that can both create pressure/get sacks and stuff the run.
Pick 82: Iapani Laloulu is arguably the best center in the draft and is a massive need for the Commanders.
Pick 100: Teitum Tuioti is good both against the run and has had good sack production along with forced fumbles.
Pick 132: I waited longer than I would otherwise if I didn't already trade for Brian Thomas Jr, TJ Moore fits in well as a Z WR opposite Brian Thomas Jr at the X position and forms a great young trio of WRs with Antonio Williams being the slot guy.
Pick 172: Dashawn Spears is a good Free Safety that should be able to challenge and possibly win the starting Free Safety job before the 2027 season starts, he's also good near the line of scrimmage and Daronte Jones loves players with that kind of versatility.
Pick 182: Alani Noa has played both guard positions and would provide good depth to the interior
Pick 224: Arion Carter is a tackling machine who can play either WILL or MIKE LB, he diagnoses run blocking well due to his RB background and has sub 4.5 speed. He has the potential to quickly pass up Jordan Magee and Kain Medrano on the depth chart as he has better instincts for where the play is going IMO.

Again, im not suggesting we do that, this is more of a boredom thought after reading this. Some guy in my league picked up a JT backup and I wasnt sure why, google led me to this article.

Outside of a tie of course. Eagles are as beatable as ever. Not expecting a Dallas loss but would be more helpful to us I think.

I don’t know why fans are thinking this is going to be a cake walk?
They look good currently even without Jalen. It’s going to be a lot closer than what we think and we could lose it especially if our defense is terrible again.

It was Seattle vs Redskins playoff game
i decided to show my faith by betting my entire net worth (not that much in hindsight) on Redskins covering the spread 3.5
My first sports bet ever
Redskins lose and Santana Moss drops the wide open touchdown pass that would have covered the spread at the end
thank you Redakins for protecting me from gambling addiction
