Quality Post LOVE YOU BIG Q
im finally emotionally processing this. A 2027 third and a 2028 fifth for a guy who literally saved our franchise’s culture from the absolute gutter? I get the expiring contract, I get the business side, but crap man, this hurts.
When Andrew retired, Big Q was the only reason a lot of us kept tuning in on Sundays. He made watching offensive guard tape appointment television. The 8 Pro Bowls and All-Pros don't even capture it. It was the "Run the Damn Ball" hats. It was him being the absolute first guy running 40 yards downfield to scream in a defender's face and pull his RB off the turf. It was the legendary acoustic pancake audio packages. He gave his entire body to this city.
Even last week when the trade rumors were swirling, he was giving interviews about how much he loved Indy, how he met his wife here, and how he just wanted to get us out of our skid. He's a Ring of Honor lock and a future first-ballot Hall of Famer, and seeing him wear Seattle neon is going to make me physically sick. Hope you win a Ring in Seattle my goat
Thanks for everything, Q. You’re an all-time great. #56 💙🧱

WOW!! That's a nice summary of the Colts great!!! He will be definitely missed. Hope this rebuild is worth losing all these quality players who went above and beyond!!!

Favorite post Manning era colt by a mile and it sucks to see him gone
At this post I care almost nothing for this roster.

I went into this season as apathetic as it gets. I haven’t given a shit about the losses
But the one thing that’s been getting to me is seeing the body language of our players after every loss. Every single one looks absolutely defeated. As for guys like Buck and Q, I could see more cracks in their PR facade than before
When Q was saying that shit last week it wasn’t about him wanting to stay here. The ONLY nice thing he had to say about 9 years as a colt was “I met my wife here.” Seeing a player of his caliber and marriage (which I acknowledge is bigger than sports) is his only thing he can hold on to his time here - we fuckin failed him

How did he save our culture? Come on that’s crazy this is the sane guy that watched as a Deshawn did snow angels on our QB. Nice guy but holy hyberpole

I love Q but let's he didn't really save our culture form anything. We havent been a good team for his whole time in Indy.
I'm personally happy that he gets a chance to play for a winning organization for a few years.

This is what I mean when I say that fans massively over value players.
He saved our culture? Our losing culture that hasn't even been to the playoffs since 2020? Our culture that could never even win the worst division in the NFL one single time? That culture?
And he was the only reason you watched? Really? You watched solely to see a player at a position that, by it's very nature, almost never produced actual highlight plays?
Btw, offensive guard tape was never appointment television. At most, it was one or two plays every couple of games where you could say, "hey, he pancaked that guy".

Saved our Culture... from letting Thibodeaux do snowangles right next to our injured QB?
Oh wait, he was already a 5 year pro by then and watched it happen
