Transferring into Sheridan music theatre program?

I know Sheridan College (Canada) takes transfer students, but I am wondering specifically about transferring into the music theatre program, if it’s possible and what that looks like. Is there anyone who did it/knows someone who did? Did they force you to enroll as a first-year or were you able to continue with where you would’ve been at your previous school? Is it worth it?

(P.S. unrelated but why is it called music theatre and not musical theatre? I have never understood that.)

Started college badly

hey so i fcked around at blinn college for a year and a half before i was academically suspended. i then had a moment of realization that i need to do something with my life. i transferred to lonestar college and managed to raise my new gpa back up to where i would be able to transfer to texas tech university. i applied earlier this week and submitted transcripts from both colleges i attended. i am worried that they are going to see the terrible well below 2.0 gpa from blinn and ignore my new gpa which meets their transfer standards.

anyone know if they take into consideration improvement at a new school or are they going to deny me due to my poor gpa from blinn.

i am close to having 24 credit hours at lonestar and i have 20 credits that i was able to transfer from blinn. i am hoping they look past my terrible first gpa but that would be a miracle. i need someone to be real with me here.
