Brewers are the best team in baseball and it isn't close.

We got some work to do this off-season. If this no OF shift rule goes into effect I'd rather hang onto Kwan BUT not at the expense of Halpin, Martinez should get DH and platoon infield/outfield and say goodbye to Fry.

I have nothing to add other than saying Junior Caminero is a dipshit for taunting Steven Kwan of all people

Well, at least it isn't us getting routed 10-0 in the World Series tonight...

Since I can't control reality anyway I'm going to imagine that the cba creates some kind of enhanced revenue sharing and forcing owners to spend more (without a traditional cap-floor system) and we start spring training on time, all our first-Arb guys get paid, and Kwan, Adell, and Hedgie show up holding hands with multi-year extensions.

Wake me from my dream when negotiations make any progress šŸ‘

Do we think there will be any movement (extensions, free agency, cuts to 40 man, etc) prior to the lockout?

Granted there’s not usually much of that for us anyway, but I wonder if some of the guys would want to take care of that up front or wait until after. I could see a lockout ending during the normal season, teams having 2 weeks to get ready in a quick spring training, and then full go.

If there's still a rule 5 draft then there are guys they'll probably wanna lock down, so I'd expect movement around that at least

The media and masses trying to make a controversy out of the obvious swing from the checked swing is something. It warms my heart after last Monday a checked swing went against them.

So glad to hear that. I was thinking the same thing and felt like I was being petty.

I’m ok with a Brewers WS win.

Celebrating too soon is something we see more and more. I actually like how superstitious NHL players are. They don’t touch the conference championship trophy because they know it’s not the ultimate goal (unintentional pun noted).

As fans of a team that momentum has gotten screwed twice by rain it’s definitely not petty to be happy another team got a call that went against them.

That call last Monday changed the entire game for us as we went down 2-0 instead of being 0-0. Maybe Vogt would have done something different next inning.
