Who do you think is stronger by the end of season 2?

After season 2's cliff hanger picked up the manga and have to say I don't mind the switch from Alicia and Clevatess but I absolutely hate Zazak. I don't know if in alone in this but it feels like we now have the narrative held hostage by a character that isn't that interesting compared to Clevatess, Alicia or Luna not to mention dude is responsible for the enslavement and serial rape and other physical abuse of Nelle and he's actively enslaved her again and the story is pretty much not acknowledging it beyond "he's letting her run free now to look after Luna" i feel like the author had Clevatess appear just to be throw a quick "no he still has a plan" but then hes immediately gone with no further elaboration and our new status quo is that hes basically a pokemon alongside Nelle in this B tier antagonists overpowered never foreshadowed tool. I honestly hope Alicia curb stomps this man so the story stops feeling like it was hijacked by Zazak D. Phony.

Just a rant post curious if I'm alone in this or if anyone else feels this too.

Maybe because I never read the manga or webtoon but I honestly feel cheated.

I felt season 1 was amazing, we have this killer monster that lacks empathy and does thing to his whims and kills humans as he likes.

He hid his identity and ensure no one knew who he was.

Season 2 we have Clevatess not killing the white haired boy because he suddenly cares deeply for his toy The hero and the baby.

Then he starts revealing his identity to all??? like what?! He is impulsive and seemed useless without the hero at his side?

I dropped it so fast after the dragon took the book in episode 8. Why is only he weakened in human form when the hawk guy and others are not?

The students, I cared nothing for. Why are their back stories being told when I had no emotional connection to them?

I’m sorry but I felt season two was awful and after reading the ending. I stand by my decision that it’s one of the worst things I have bothered wasting time to watch.

I don’t mind character death but it was not what we were told in season 1. In terms of power scaling.

Dropped and upset.

Story not fleshed out. Spending time on characters that suck( school kids).

Also the hero fight with the plant guy. She killed people who tried to kill her many times but suddenly she can’t kill the plant guy?

GUYS IM DONE FOR. Is it just me or does Season 1 ending STILL randomly pop into my mind and then I just start singing: “IT’S NEVER ALL THAT DEEEEEEP…UNLEASH THE RAAAAAAAAIN!”
It’s such a beautiful song, do you guys like it?

Ps.- I think my neighbors assume I’ve lost my marbles because I keep belting those lyrics like a tone deaf horse. (Not that horses can sing but whatever…don’t judge me…you get my point)

Boy was I wrong.

The did an amazing job mixing in the mystery, magic, swords and everuthig the first season had. Definitely less gorey and more fan service but filled a lot of holes I didn't get to see at the beginning.

It definitely felt very packed though so never got attached to any character unlike s1.

Is Alicia actually dead???

Now I just finished episode 8 and I'm enjoying it so far but I'm a little confused... How old is ray supposed to be? He has a tragic backstory where his friend died and his friends face is now being worn by Clevatess... But like how long ago did they meet that they are supposedly best friends and why did ray get soooo unbelievably powerful in such a short time... Like it seems he met his supposed best friend like at most a year ago and in that time became a litteral commoner nobody to what he is now.

Time line seems a but strange in fact I thought that for a lot of the characters this season like they have their tragic back stories but are also like 15

The 5 chapters (70-74) are already uploaded in the site, a very solid Volume tbh, my favourite in this arc.

Volume 15 is set to release in February 2027!

The “gears turning” wasn’t just a metaphor, it’s some Toah shit??? It seems to me like people who are absolutely pivotal to the “Story” are the ones who can hear/feel the gears turning: Shiro, Write and Klen

So curious wtf the Toah entity is

Can someone please give me light spoilers for what has been happening after the season 2 ending of the anime. Diabolical cliffhanger.

I just want to stay excited for the series while waiting for season 3!

Particularly:

- I heard that Milea attempts to revive Alicia without dark ichor (so she would be able to live independently from Clevatess). This would be awesome IMO. How is that going?

- Now that Alicia and Clevatess are...unavailable...who are the temporary protagonists of the series that are focused on?

- Is Clevatess active at all? What are the plans to bring him back?

- Do Merry Merry and Andrew still have their powers?

- How was Jazhak able to defeat Klen/Clevatess?

I’ve noticed the English translations for this series are really slow, which is a major bummer :/.
Does anyone know the source for earliest English translations?
-
I’m impatient, especially when it comes to knowing the actual material is out there, just unreadable for me. Doesn’t help I’m so locked into this series. I plan on buying the English manga collection once it’s complete, or relatively up to date.
That’s the only thing about the series that frustrate me, and it’s not even the series itself, just my circumstantial limited access to it.
-
Honorable mention, I’m not a big dub guy, but I do enjoy them when it’s well portrayed imo.
And the clevatess English dub is so goated.

This Volume was truly peak!

The first chapter of the 14 Volume is already translated in mangakatana.

Yeah just as the title says, i was curious to see where does everyone think and how the story will end? Do yall think the beast lords will die at the end, or will all races unite against the "bigger" enemy, like in most stories, like i gen can't see and ending for this story no matter how hard i try. My hopes is that at least clev survives, if not the other lords, but the way the story is going and with wrights goals and apparent GOD'S words and mission, it just seems to me that the story will end with humanoids uniting.
