Gameday advice
VT fan who’s making the trip down this weekend. It’s my second game there but it’s been a few years. I was at the 2023 game against FSU. Didn’t do my research ahead of time for that one and ended up missing the entrance and don’t want to make that mistake again. So I just wanted to ask a few questions
Parking- what’s the best places to park? Is there anywhere cheap/free within a reasonable walking distance? I’d be willing to walk up to 30-40 minutes to the stadium. Also not opposed to paying for parking, just don’t want to pay an absurd amount.
Are there any specific pregame festivities or restaurants I should try to check out? Or just anything in general close to the stadium that’s worth checking out.
Thanks in advance to anyone who’s willing to help out an opposing fan lol. Looking forward to seeing Death Valley at night

A restaurant recommendation is the Smoking Pig in Pendleton, about 7 miles south of Clemson. It’s great Bbq.
I recommend lunch there, then drive to campus parking- Calvary church is good.
There are a few bars and restaurants on college avenue, across the street from the center of campus. You might walk through there or stop at a place. Lots of pregame activity.
So is the parking at Newspring : 13200 Clemson Blvd, Seneca, SC 29678, it’s two miles across the lake from the stadium, but there are shuttle buses that drop you off outside the baseball stadium .
The marching band has a concert at the amphitheater in the center of campus, before marching to the stadium, about two hours before kickoff
Welcome to Clemson!

Calvary Church behind the Amtrak station. Usually $40 and outside the flow of traffic for quick exit either direction. It is about a 30 minute walk to the stadium. Hokies have always treated us nice when we visit. Enjoy Tiger Town.

I will give a shameless plug for my church, St. Andrews Catholic Church. Parking is $40-50, but it does fill up quickly.
Look for Buzz. He's a VT alum.

Seneca Creek meadows, new spring lot or kite hill would be the best free GA parking. Of course first come first serve. I think SCM and NS lots have a shuttle service or you could hike it. It’s homecoming so all the “floats” would be up on bowman field. Of course downtown has your restaurants and bars and shops. TD’s, Loose Change, TTT and Esso Club are the local spots to eat.
