I love it when Chucky malfunctions mostly because they're usually quite creepy & conclusive. Here are a few that come to mind:

• "Hi, I'm Chucky, wanna plaaayyy?" - The deep voice for the first half and sudden transition into the Good Guy voice is just really hard to beat.
• "I like to be hugged (on repeat)" - R.I.P Tommy.
• "I liiiiike to be hugged." - When Jake, Devon, & Lexy jump on the doll thinking Chucky still has it possessed.

On another note, here are a few changes I've made since becoming the new mod for this sub:

• Adjusted the rules. To many of the roles were either too broad, or too nuanced. I wasn't a fan of all the rules being defined by moderator discretion which from my POV reads as "if I don't like what I see, I'm taking it down" rather than whether or not there's an actual offense. I think ultimately as long as we're all respecting each other while we respectfully state our opinions... everyone should be fine.
• Fixed AutoMod; the threshold for posting requirements was far too high. There's a backlog of 1000+ (mostly innocent) posts/comments that didn't make it through because everyone was expected to have a fully established profile to talk about Chucky, nor were they being combed through to keep the queue short. It's going to take a while to clean that up, but going forward most posts should go through... I prioritized the posts that were reported, so those have been addressed.
• Banned Users: Completely expunged the list (except for deleted profiles), giving everyone a second chance, as most users that were banned were either...
  • One-off offenses that they were never warned for.
  • Not given a reason or even a post/comment that the ban was in regards to.
  • Never responded to when asked about their ban (when I got banned years ago based on a misunderstanding, I was fortunate enough to be able to have a conversation with the banning moderator to get back on the same page & unbanned. I think that's courtesy everyone deserves).
• User Flairs: These were all just slapped on, and weren't detailed on. Now I've added:
  • Slogans: Iconic lines or phrases from the franchise. There used to be only a few, but now I've added countless more.
  • Movies: For everyone who wants to add their favorite Chucky film next to their name.
  • Characters: For whomever wants to add their favorite character or the one they relate to most next their name.
  • Mod-Characters: Character names that only mods can wear (which is why I'm Wendell Wilkins).
  • Companies: For verified employees of Alterian, Merjed Media, Moody Pudding Studios, TOTS, or NECA.
  • I've also added a few additional post flairs & made sure that they all aren't just blank-looking.

Plenty more to come, just have to get the basic laundry list items out of the way since it's always important to clean all messes first. Let me know if you all have any suggestions!

Been a Chucky fan since I started forming long-term memories. I believe I established my public roots in the topic back when I interviewed the creators of that Chucky fan-game back in 2017 around the time Cult was coming out.

I later went on to break the story about NECA's Bride of Chucky dolls, and I'm currently slated to be interviewing a very major name in the Chucky franchise once the 8th film is formally announced.

I'm also one of the minds behind Merjed Media, an upcoming Chucky doll vendor that will be using actual molds from the production of the latter films.

As for the sub, I have much planned! Which will be announced at a later date.

In the meantime, please let me know what you'd like to see and what the space has been missing!

Until then,
