Discussion Merry Mandarin
I saw this app that's relatively new called Merry Mandarin, and I've been using it for a few days and it seems to work. However I am concerned because a lot of the english in the apps seems to be ai-generated. They don't tell you what is ai and what isn't and I'm afraid that if they generate chinese w/ai then I could be learning wrong and building bad habits. Does anybody know of this app and if it's trustworthy or not?

can't vouch for that app. ai chinese usually keeps the grammar and misses how words pair up. it writes 提升我的中文能力, i'd just say 中文變好了.

Whole thing looks AI/vibe coded to me. I wouldn’t bother with any of those—use a major app that’s been around, been vetted, and isn’t likely to be abandoned in the next year or two.
There are tons of shared Anki decks that are high quality.
