I’m still pretty new to the most recent hornets having seen some games, and I’m aware of all the injuries but why is national consensus that we won, and by a large margin?

Edit the candles are real, this Reid guy has a cult like following around the world all doing tributes on ig

But can someone explain

Do u guys think he will be in the rotation day 1 over Grant and Royce? I’d lowkey rather see him play. He could fit in very well as a backup 4 if he just plays defense and hits open threes, catches lobs when needed. I feel like he could genuinely develop into an Aaron Gordon type player but what kind of year will he need to have to get a fourth year stint with the hornets? I predict he will average about 10 points and 6 rebounds

As a French fan, I wanted to know how the Hornets are perceived in the US. Are they a well-known team? Do you consider yourselves to have a large fan community?

I feel like there is some ill will towards charlotte and how he was dealt. He gave them one of the all time best 2nd half's of a season, and there was so much promise in the next year then boom traded. What do yall think?

Hoping for a great atmosphere at the bars here in Charlotte. Where is everyone planning on watching the game tonight? Drop the bar or restaurant you’re planning on going to.

So I live in North Carolina but not close enough to Charlotte to watch the games free by way of antenna etc. last year I watched on FanDuel network and got to watch home and away games. Now they've switched to Dazn but it looks like I would only get to watch home games for the same price I paid FanDuel for all the games bc away games are blacked out... Am I missing something or did we somehow get more screwed than we already were by living in NC. I could watch them cheaper if I lived in a different state through prime.

Update I spoke with a Dazn representative and they said that I would be able to get the home and away games with the $19.99 a month subscription. So it's just like the FanDuel sports network if you had that.

What is happening with Hannes?
He is only getting DNPs so far.
Do you have an idea why that’s the case?
I was really looking forward to a great season from him.

Did Jordan actually say this?

I am extremely interested in hearing how they frame this move. Dangerous move to make with the fan base and what they have to say better be well thought out. A good explanation of the thinking without throwing Melo under the bus. After six years with the team and a beloved fan favorite is shipped off they better come out with some class in how they treat a player who always said he loved Charlotte.

I have live tv through Hulu and I don’t see the game on the tv guide. Am I just being dumb or will I be able to watch the game?

Edit to add: I’m in Raleigh area

A call to channel 48 today tells me they're uncertain if they're carrying the Hornet games this season. I need to know whether or not to sign up with DAZN. All interested please call them and share you interest. Their phone: 336 722-45452.

Didn't love the price but I did like being able to stream hornets games on the fan duel app. I haven't seen any news on how we can watch games next season. I did see a rumor that NBA teams might partner with FUBO but nothing new lately.

I called My TV 48 and they said that Spectrum customers will be able to watch the game tonight. I was confused by that, because it contradicts what is on the NBA website. Has anyone else been able to talk with them or gotten any more information about watching the games in the Triad (Greensboro market)?

He is the last one left, Naz Reid just did his but where is Melos, he’s been pretty active in MN so it’s not like he does not have the time.

Hell miles did his the first day lol.

Can anyone aleviate my fears concerning TV coverage in my area for the upcoming season? I live in Winston-Salem and have been a long fan of the Hornets. As the new season approaches, I am becoming increasingly concerned as to how I'm gong to watch my team. Surely (hopefully) management has addressed this issue, yet has made no announcements. Help!

Hello fellow Buzz City fans. I don’t want to be a vibe killer, but has anyone else felt concerned for the boys over the last 4/5 games? Ever since the Heat loss, I’ve noticed a distinct lack of energy and execution from the team. Or course, it doesnt help that the one time we have a great year; the Hawks, Heat, and Magic all decide to go on massive win streaks of their own. It seems like we’re locked in to the 10 seed; and I’m worried that perhaps we peaked too early. At this moment in time I doubt our ability to win two road elimination games to get into the playoffs; especially with Brandon’s maddening inconsistency as of late. What do you guys think? An i overreacting? Go hornets!

As a long-time Hornet fan who has always looked forward to the TV coverage of my team, I face a lot of anxiety over the coming season. I'm an out of Charlotte person who doesn't have OTA coverage that's to be provided by WSOC, so it appears streaming on DAZN is my only option. I know nothing about them or what they offer. Do they provide announcers, etc or do they simply pick up what's being provided by the local coverage? (Hopefully Dell and Eric). And how much will it cost? My recent visit to their homepage only gives me the $25 monthly fee and does not show the $19.99 rate that's been mentioned in the press. Hornets headquarters needs to offer more info for us out-of-town fans as, hey, the season's not that far away. Any info will be greatly appreciated!

We bought an inexpensive digital antenna from Amazon to be able to watch the Hornets games this season on local Charlotte channel 64. We have watched two preseason games. The video from the main camera appears to be pixelated and appears to suffer from compression artifacts. The other camera shots like close ups during free throws and players on the bench appear to be crisper, cleaner quality. What are other people's experience? Anyone getting high quality video over the air (OTA)? Any suggestions to improve quality? Thanks!

Hey guys, curious if there are any podcasts or YouTube series that anyone would recommend that talks about the hornets. I honestly am looking for some things I can listen to while working for all things hornets, Charlotte, panthers, etc. Thanks!

Hey Hornets friends! HUGE Naz Reid fan here (even have the tattoo!) from Minneapolis, planning to visit your city October 23-27 to be at the first home stretch! I’d love to hear what recommendations or must sees your city has! I’m planning to stay nearby the arena and not renting a car so public transportation and/or walkable in that area preferred!

I love exploring the “locals only”/hidden gems of cities which is why I’m asking here instead of relying solely on Google. :) I’m a 35 year old female, not really into the bar scene, but pretty open to any other experiences your city has to offer!

NAZ REID. 🤴🏿

So, the trade was finalized multiple weeks ago. LaMelo already did an introductory press conference in Minnesota. And there havent been any appearances with Naz and the Hornets anywhere online that I've seen. What's going on? Shouldn't they have done something by now?

Would love to see updates at least in guys like Anderson and BMill

Hey all.

Hope it's cool to ask this here. I'm wanting to pickup one of the new pullover Starter jackets that have been released in collaboration with Homage. I'm having a bit of a tough time determining what size to grab.

I'm 5'10" and on the slimmer side (~130lb), and would probably prefer a slimmer fit that does not drop too far below my waist like a skirt. I usually wear a men's large, but can't quite tell if these seem to run on the larger side. I've seen lots of people say that they recommend ordering on the larger side, and I've also seen a bunch of people saying to go down a size.

Just wanted to see if anyone here has grabbed one of these new Starter jackets, and how they fit you, as well as how you like them in general and the quality.

Cheers!

Edit: Haha I didn't know people disliked the new logo like that. I actually don't mind it, although I love classic Hugo as well. Maybe it's just the association with the original, but yeah all the newly released Starter jackets have the modern team logos.

WMYV My 48 is supposed to be the Greensboro partner for the Hornets and they just don't have the game. What's going on?

Hello fellow Charlotte Hornets fans.

I would like to be brought up to speed on how the Hornets are in the NBA in terms of prospects, players, season outlook and future, and Front Office. I’m a long time baseball fan and any comparisons to baseball would be ideal. (Go braves) Also going to the game on the 31st and would like any tips for going to the game.

Bonus points if you let me know any memes that I wouldn’t get.

Thank you for your consideration.
