Discussion It’s year 5 what tradition would you eliminate and what would you like to see us start doing?

  1. Get rid of the thing at half time where Minty stands in the throne and asks everyone to wave their cellphone light.

  2. Agree on a post match song that the players will sing with the supporters. Something like Wagon Wheel or Take Me Home Country Roads

Discussion New Fan Wanting To Know How Long Players Stick Around And Buying A Jersey

I became a fan during the world cup and have only missed one charlotte game since. Soccer has quickly become my 2nd favorite sport after football. I want to get a jersey but soccer confuses me a little.

Do MLS teams tend to keep their stars? Schnegg seems good to me but during the game a few weeks back the announcers said his old team just let him go? Is that normal?

Do players go on loan in MLS?

What's the longevity on a good soccer player? Im assuming they all dont play to Messi's age? Is Maxi or Pep Beil on the end of their career?

I might just be over thinking this? But some of these questions are just good to know even if im not buying a jersey.

Thanks guys!

Discussion Supporter section last night

What was going on with the supporter section last night? There was zero energy and got drowned out multiple times by the “let’s go charlotte” chant and once that chant got going all you could here was some guy banging on a symbol clearly trying his best to disrupt the chant the rest of the stadium was doing.

Discussion Time to scout players on Charlotte Independence?

Charlotte Independence just won the player's shield (supporters shield equivalent). I'd be curious to hear if anyone follows this team and what players you think would be cool to try out in Charlotte given our issue at midfield (and depth at other positions)!

Discussion When do we sound the alarm ‼️

We are now 1/3 of the way through the season and Morisson Agyemang has the same amount of goals as two of our DPs have combined. Zaha and Abada are on a combined $5.1M salary compared to Agyemang at $240K.

If we lose tonight to NYCFC we will officially be on pace for our worst season in club history. I know there’s a ton of Dean supporters here but this is typically what happens to clubs he has managed in the past.

Our best wins of the season are against #9 Red Bulls with ten men and #7 NYCFC. Can someone show me the light at the end of the tunnel or are we headed towards our worst season on record? Be honest.

Discussion Is there any ever seating in the supporter section?

The price of the GA supporter section are tempting, however I have people with me who can't stand for long. Are there any seats usually left over for people to sit?

EDIT: Thanks for the advice everyone. I went ahead and got tickets at a different part of the stadium, only to realize there's going to be plenty of rain from the tropical storm. Fuck.

Discussion Anyone think the game will be rained out Saturday?

I'm on vacation and wanted to take the family to a game. Looks like it'll be raining all day Saturday from hurricane Isais, and that's on top of the 4 hour drive to get there. Not sure my 9, 6, and 5 year old will want to handle the elements of it's pouring out there.

Is anyone backing out because of the weather?

Discussion Can the supporters section figure itself out?

The same chant for 10 minutes, cycling between the same 4 chants the whole half, drowning out any attempt at a Charlotte FC chant during corners...at this point you can't even hear the words, it's just repetitive noise

Discussion Auraless.

Our players are auraless. With the exclusion of ASM and Toklomati, we are severely lacking in this department. Literally we are primarily composed of a bunch of below average, auraless players.

The problem with this team absolutely is construction… don’t get me started on Liel Abada occupying a DP spot for this long… but really it’s about almost the entirety of our midfield rotation, forwards, everyone… auraless.

Discussion Projected 2026 depth chart - thoughts?

Post image
33 Upvotes

I generally feel great about our starting XI, but pretty bad about our depth especially in defense. One injury to a defender (especially Byrne or Ream) and I can see this team falling apart fast. Our midfield is pretty deep so I feel good there and while I wanted another depth signing on the wing, I think Uchegbu and Aloko could surprise us. At striker obviously we are set with Idan, but we didn’t see much of Archie so I’m interested to see how he fills in there when Idan needs a break. What else am I missing? I didn’t get the chance to watch any of the preseason matches so please critique where needed

Discussion Archie Goodwin out for the season: Can Charlotte FC find a replacement in time?

Thoughts on the free agents listed in this article? I wasn’t overly convinced anyone would be worthwhile besides Benzema or perhaps Icardi, but not sure how plausible of signings they’d be. Mbongue seems to have a little something judging by his scoring record at Legacy, so personally I’d rather give him a shot than pick up some scraps in a state of panic and potentially brick our roster construction down the line.

If you guys have any players you think could work that weren’t mentioned drop suggestions!

I think we can all agree Smalls can’t be our first striker off the bench if we’re gonna do something in the playoffs.

Discussion Free Agents

Dear Charlotte FC. Here is a list of players currently in Free agency. And some of them are even younger than Tim Ream, just saying.

Jadon Sancho
Mauro Icardi
Anthony Martial
Joselu
Jamie Vardy (oldie but a goodie)
Wilfried Zaha (we could do something really funny here)
Luuk De Jong
Paul Pogba
Adama Traoré
Raheem Sterling
Stephan El Sharaawy
David Alaba
Axel Tuanzabe
Oleksandr Zinchenko
Daniel Carvajal

Let’s get our own washed, but somehow still able to play, dude from Europe!!

CLTFC kick off tonight against Pumas in this first match-day of the 2026 Leagues Cup. The Crown looks to bounce back from their 2–0 loss to Chicago three nights ago. Who you got tonight, and who will shine?

Discussion Scarf swap request: Portland for Charlotte

Any Charlotte fans planning on making the trip out west to Portland? I grew up near Portland and have been a fan since I was a kid. When I got stationed on the east coast (Norfolk, VA) in 2021 I wanted an east coast team to follow. Conveniently Charlotte was minted in 2022…perfect timing! While living out east I was able to attend a match and the vibes were fantastic.

I’ve continued to follow CFC since moving back west, and always root for them, except when they play Portland. I was curious if any CFC supporters were gonna make the trip out west. I’d love to buy you a beer and hopefully swap scarfs. Thanks!

Discussion Timbers Supporter Coming in Peace

I'm a Timbers Supporter who just happens to be in Charlotte for business Wednesday. Thought I'd come to the match, because fuck Atlanta. Where should I stand?

I was thinking about 125 next to GA. Are there any specific standing sections outside of GA?

Discussion What is going on with attendance?

We are on a winning streak, weather was good last night, and yet attendance still seems to be the lowest I’ve seen all season. The vibes overall last night were weird as well. First time all season I really couldn’t hear the supporters section at all besides the mess that is the drums.
