Van cover recommendations
I’m looking to buy a caravan cover, the old one that came with my van has perished. Can any one recommend a good quality one. I’m happy to pay more for one that will last longer, but a lot of the online reviews I’ve read suggest the more expensive ones like Adco and camec are no better than the really cheap ones.

I have a Camec one, that I bought about 15 months ago. I was initially happy with the quality however the material has become brittle and easily tears. The van is stored in the open so the conditions are tough (full sunlight and rain), but that's why I need a cover.
They come with a 3 year warranty which others have said they successfully claimed against for aging, but if I got a new one I'd be back to the same issue in another 15 months.
When it falls apart I'll replace it with a heavy duty tarp which is what I've seen recommended as an alternative.

Ark tarps have some tarp style covers. My only concern was airflow being in humid coastal weather.

None will last much more than 3 years unfortunately. My saving grace is that there are plenty of brand new ones for sale on marketplace at cheap prices. Seems like lots buy them and never use them. Their loss is my gain.

Keep in mind you might be covering the solar panels. So your batteries won't stay topped up

rather pay more for a breathable, UV-resistant cover than replace a cheap one every couple of years.

Our $180 van cover from Anaconda has just died after 4 years. I don’t think one 3 times the price would last 3 times longer. They all look like they are made from the same or similar material.
