Discussion For my fellow ABCs, do you actually find Jyutping helpful?

Been looking at different Canto learning lessons for myself, and sometimes I find Jyutping hard to comprehend. I learned Pinyin growing up for Mandarin, and that seems easier to understand and pronounce. So I was just wondering if I am the only one who thinks this.

Do you guys look at "English pronunciations" (like "fun gao" for sleep) to learn the pronunciations? What do you guys find the most helpful?

Thank you :)

Other Question Is the Hakka-Canto/Hoisanese beef over?

Since the Hakka have mostly been pushed out of our native lands, and China has become a lot more unified, and the Hakka are so successful.... Is it basically over now? Have you seen any remnants of the tension in your lifetime? Have you heard anything from you grandparents or great grandparents about the Hakka and/or their conflict with us bun dei yan?

Language Question Translation of "Nurse Practitioner"

What is the best way to communicate to patients that I am an advanced practice nurse who can assess, diagnose, and prescribe independently?

I see 護理醫生 wu6lei5 ji1sang1 and 執業護士 zap1jip6 wu6si6 used, but I'm worried patients will think I'm a doctor or just a regular nurse when I use those terms.
