Pressure Canning Processing Help First time using my pressure canner need help

I have a 10 pound weight on my pressure canner. And it's spinning around like crazy and releasing steam. But the little pressure gauge to the right is not popped up. Is this an issue? Anyone know why it's not popping up?

What brand and model of canner is this? Knowing that will help with diagnosing any issues.

Definitely not the same model, but I know on my Presto 16 qt canner, the air vent/cover lock is a little heavy or the specs are a little loose, so it sometimes needs a bit of help popping up once the canner has been vented for 10 minutes.

It's a Mirro canner! 22 qt. Honestly I think this might be user error and I feel silly for even making this post 🤣 I believe the pressure indicator is actually on the handle (also pictured here behind the weight).

It was a learning experience for sure! I think it went well all things considered and now I also know to turn the heat down once it reaches pressure.

The image is of a pressure canner lid that shows both the weight and the pressure gauge to the right. The weight is slightly blurry as it was spinning when the photo was taken and the pressure gauge has not released, it is still in the lowered position.
