I've noticed a real difference in the number of paying customers recently, and it's got me wondering whether AW is simply becoming too expensive for the guys?

When you actually think about it, they're paying fees to top up their credits unless they have the plus membership thing or top up £150+ (I have a couple of screenshots that show how much they are paying extra when they top up that I'll put in the comments), then there's the additional 20% VAT on our rates etc, it all starts adding up pretty quickly. Let alone tips!

Don't get me wrong, I'm still making very decent money each week, so I'm definitely not complaining about my overall earnings. Some days I can sit online for hours and barely make a penny but obviously that's part and parcel of being in this industry, and I completely understand that no two days are going to be the same.

But I genuinely can't help feeling like there's been a massive change on the site recently. I've been doing this long enough to know that quiet periods are normal, but something just feels different lately. Even friends of mine who are on the site have been saying exactly the same thing.

Of course, the cost of living is affecting everyone, but I do wonder how many customers are being put off by the overall cost, particularly regulars who might have previously spent quite a bit on the site. One of my friends made a point of saying it's probably too expensive for the guys who only used to spend £10/£20 at a time and I think she's right.

I'm not saying this is definitely the reason, but surely all these additional charges must have some impact?
