Place to work

Other than being in labs, where do people work? My friend is visiting me and we also want to get some work done/spend time together. Where do people usually go? Thanks!

Top floor of the library is nice.

Just not SFL without getting visitor clearance. There’s an older librarian that is an asshole and will call security on anyone she thinks doesn’t look like a student

This was years ago, but I used to work in the basement of Dabney Library. It was comfortable and quiet, and usually I would be the only one there.

My fav spots to work were the library in the basement of Linde, or 3rd (?) floor of Downs that has the big chalkboard corner

Work done/time spent = power. The question is asking where to go to maximize power. Denote the location by r. We are thus looking at the optimization problem power(r) -> max According to howstuffworks (https://history.howstuffworks.com/world-history/most-powerful-countries-in-the-world.htm) the most powerful country is USA. The US headquarters are in the Whitehouse, i.e. r=38.897737, -77.036532

Answer: go to (38.897737, -77.036532)
