♨ Help willow is getting spayed today!

and i am a mess 😅 i cried so much when i dropped her off (i finally got an appointment at the low

cost clinic). i’m worried she’s scared and thinks i abandoned her 😭😭 please give me any reassurance, advice for aftercare, or just pics of your cats to distract me while i wait all day to get her back home! 🩶🤍🤎

no absolutely! plus all the other health benefits from spaying. i am really happy and grateful it is happening overall, just a hard day! she’s so perfect and sweet and i just feel like, mom guilt over it 🥲

My dilute thanks you for spaying her! My baby’s first owner didn’t spay her and she got pregnant young. She came to me the day her kittens left the nest!

It's ok to feel anxious. In the end you are doing the best thing for your girl. She will be a groggy little shaved monster after. Are you going with a cone or cat pajamas for aftercare?

i got her a recovery onesie! and we have two nugget comfort couches i will make into a low bed so i can sleep there (she sleeps with me every night) and won’t have to worry about her jumping up (and down). i’ve got lickable treats for her too, should i do anything different with her litter box? like go buy a more shallow one so it’s easier?

eta: i am also going to order a second onesie today so i can rotate/wash them
