Are cafe racers choppers
I love choppers and personally I believe that if it looks like one is sorta homemade and you wanna call it a chopper it’s probably a chopper. Others here on Reddit like in the good old [r/choppers](r/choppers) sub I always see the same thing:
Choppers derived from ww2 vets coming home and chopping all extra accessories and some of the frame off the bike. A chopper is usually a hard tail (don’t agree) and a chopper has to have the frame chopped in some way (don’t agree) has to have raked forks (I do agree that makes the whole chopper shape in my opinion) and probably a couple more things I’m forgetting. So in some respects depending on how you define a chopper wouldn’t cafe racers be considered the choppers of sport bikes? Yea? No? Maybe? Am I venturing in illegal culture territory? Figured I’d post here before I ask [r/choppers](r/choppers)
