Problem with audio in my Corolla
Hi Guys,
I have a problem with my Toyota Corolla 1.5 (2022). When I use AppleCar (iPhone 15 connected via wire) I have troubles with audio and calls - I can pick up the phone by clicking appropriate button on the driving wheel, however, there is no sound - I don't hear the voice and the caller doesn't hear me. Also, when playing music from YouTube Music (or other apps), I see on the screen in my Toyota that the song is on but I there is no sound. The same situation occurs when I connect iPhone by Bluetooth. On the other hand, FM works properly. Also, Google maps (in AppleCar) are also okay. By far I have tried repairing Bluetooth and AppleCar as well as restarting the multimedia system by pressing the power button for a few seconds.
This problem has occurred out of nowhere - everything was fine the day before.
I tried to connect with my friend's phone - also didn't work...
I would be very grateful for any possible solution. Thanks in advance!

First off, pull down the screen from top right and make sure the volume is on max.
Then do a hard restart volume up/volume down/ then hold power button until apple logo appears.
Had it once and it got confused when connected to CarPlay and phone volume getting dropped to zero
As I recall I caused the confusion using my ear buds when I started the car and somehow the switching over to CarPlay screwed up the volume setting.

Thanks for the answer. I did it and unfortunately the problem still persists. However, today I noticed that voice from Google Maps is correctly played via Toyota’s speakers.

Have you replaced the cable?
