I just can’t resist a good before and after. This one was way too satisfying not to share.

It is soapstone, so it's got a lot of knicks

Top photo before and bottom is after.

After first…
A good degreaser, patience, and a lot of scrubbing. Worth it.

Work continues on this three story house covered in excrement. We have almost finished the upstairs!

The method used was:

Spray with bleach mixture.

Wipe up with paper towels.

Putty knife any remaining doodoo.

Removed the gross wallpaper.

Used the putty knife and a steamer on the hand rail.

Finished by steaming and wiping every inch of the stairwell.

I'm pretty proud of this one!

A little disclaimer: this isn't my toilet! I clean for work!

My partner and I discovered a new hobby of restoring our old pots and pans. We used Bar Keeper’s Friend and an electric cleaning brush. So satisfying!!! It was helping having two people so that one person could hold the pan while the other held the electric cleaning brush. At first we tried using elbow grease and a brillo pad but the electric cleaning brush was a game changer for this pan.

Why carpet in kitchen? No idea. Hoping to replace next year.

nasty task 1/2 done. yuck.

House is 20 years old and I don't think they were ever cleaned.

How to remove or lessen scratches??
