My sister moved to Berlin in September for work, and before she had even unpacked she was already stressing about whether she could keep taking the same supplements she had in France, because the last thing she wanted was to start comparing brands again in a language she can't read yet.

Right now her shelf is half German and half French, with the Mivolis vitamin D she grabbed at dm because she was there for shampoo anyway, and the magnesium glycinate she still reorders from Nutrimea since they have a German version of their site.

Her colleagues keep pushing Sunday Natural on her since it's a Berlin brand, and now she's convinced she can order any supplement from anywhere in Europe, which I'm less sure about because I doubt every brand ships that easily outside its own country.

For anyone living in another EU country, do you still order your supplements from back home or did you end up switching to what you can find locally?

I’ve been trying to identify and buy from brands that are not only European but also manufacture within Europe. I came across Rotholz, which is a German clothing brand that manufactures in Portugal and wanted to share. They do women and men’s clothing with a lot of focus on natural, non-synthetic fibers.

Just thought I’d share in case anyone has been on a similar search. Would also be thrilled to hear about other companies that do manufacturing within Europe.

Mais malheureusement, je ne trouve la plupart des pièces qu'sur AliExpress, ou alors sur un site européen avec une marge de +200 %, voire plus, et je ne veux pas payer deux fois plus cher juste pour du dropshipping en gros.

I'm looking for an AI tool that can turn a text prompt or an image/screenshot into an editable digital interface/prototype (think Uizard) — but I need it to be 100% European: founded, owned, and headquartered in the EU (or at least fully independent from US/non-EU parent companies). Open source is also totally fine.

So far I've looked into:

• Uizard — Danish roots, but acquired by Miro (which is co-headquartered in the US)
• Framer — Dutch, independent, great AI website builder, but it's more for websites than app/product prototypes
• Stitch — America, was the best solution but is Google

Does anyone know of a tool that:

• is genuinely EU-founded and EU-owned (not just "has an EU office"), or a solid open-source project
• lets you type a prompt or upload an image and get a real, editable prototype/UI out of it
• ideally works for app/product UIs, not just marketing websites

Bonus points if it's GDPR-first/privacy-focused by design.

I have been reducing the products that I buy from outside of Europe, so last year I got a european made mobile phone which runds on e/OS, called Murena. The problem I have is that I cannot cast it to my television anymore which is connected via a chrome cast.

Now I was looking for an alternative which would be easy enough to connect to but I get the choices between apple, amazone, and the new google one. So I was wondering if anybody has found an alternative that is easy enough to connect to which does not need an android or an OS driver on the phone?

I ordered a bunch of socks from them seeing them recommended by a friend and the internet. I thought it was also nice to be able to support an Ukrainian company and stuff manufactured in Europe with cute designs.

But I cannot recommend them. After waiting for my order for two months, I just got an email that I'm being issued a refund. But because of the currency conversions involved, I'm actually receiving 40% less money than I paid (about 15 EUR). Apparently this was because the parcel was returned to them, which is baffling as I never got any notice of it being attempted to be delivered in the first place. I can only assume it was returned due to a problem with customs.

Chatting with their customer service they claim that there is nothing they can do. I asked if they are not able to just send the order again, perhaps to a different address, and that I would be happy to cover the shipping as even that would be less that the 15EUR I'm losing for no reason. But no, it's just an automatic refund, which makes you lose money on currency conversions.

I wanted to love them so badly. A friend of mine has some that she bought a while ago and I couldn't wait to get mine. But yeah, I don't think I can recommend them. I won't be trying to order again.
