It's a little creepy, but also kind of... informative?

A reverse image search site cross-referenced tagged Burner photos (e.g. from Instagram) with LinkedIn and other sources, then grouped people by company, role, and industry (from 2012-2026):

A few things stood out:

• Google, Meta, and Amazon have the largest clusters (ofc they're also the largest employers)
• VCs & investing, Startups, and AI & data had similar cluster sizes to Media, Art, & Events
• Founders, CEOs, and Engineers were the most represented roles

Worth noting that this is NOT a representative sampling, given that it's taken only from publicly tagged photos that could ALSO be cross-referenced.

I have no idea how accurate the results are, nor any way to evaluate them.
