Well, it’s my turn I guess. My boy was 10 years old, healthy and happy. Until Yesterday, we went to the vet with a head tilt, lowered ear, and a droopy face. He was sent home with antibiotics for an inner ear infection and diagnosed with facial paralysis. Today, he seized and died.
Bunnies are such sweet pets and I consider myself lucky to have had him in my life. He loved his big doggy brother, bananas and pellets, and chewing cords and any wood he could get his teeth on.
Give your bunnies some extra love for me and Nivens tonight. Love mom, aunty and uncle ❤️

I keep finding my bunnies in these “loops” where they continue on for minutes in this position grooming each other. Are they triggering each other?

I snapped this picture when he was twitching his nose and I noticed his nose was a little red. And now I'm worried because he also makes out small, steady honking noises whenever he comes around me and I don't know if he can breathe okay.

Cookie's head tilt is almost gone, no strange behaviour anymore.
Gave EC and ear infection treatment and will continue to do for the full month.
I have no idea what caused the tilt and ear scratch, and I doubt its ec because he lost most symptoms the same day he got the treatment, ec treatment isn't supposed to act that fast.
He also seems to have some slight facial asymmetry and he looks very slightly tilted but he's not.
Guy feels very well, in fact better than pre-headtilt for some reason (although he started to become better in the past 2 weeks, previously had a few ugly illnesses)
He sploots and flops so darn often now.
Thanks all for the help on the previous post 🤗

TW: death.. unsure if this is allowed here
I don’t cry about it as much as I used to. However, I’m back home where they used to live and I’m finding items at home that remind me of them.
I donated the rest of their food, treats and toys but I haven’t gotten rid of their blankets yet. Still unwashed so hair is everywhere.
Idk… they were attacked by a dog and I’m just grateful it wasn’t as gruesome or gory as it could have been. I didn’t witness it nor am I the one that found them. They looked so peaceful.
I think they were scared for a minute but it was very short lived.
I had the white one for almost 3 years and the brown one for almost 1 year. They were both 3 years old. I miss them so much. Idk. I’ve never loved anything more.
Bonding them was hard but they loved each other.. I choose to believe they loved me too.

Baby girl is 3 months old, rescued from a negligent past owner. Has been living with me for 1 week and she's an absolute sweetie. Doesn't like cuddling but accepts pets and head kisses just fine.
However, she KEEPS BITING ME for absolutely no reason, I'll be sitting on the floor, without approaching her at all, and suddenly she will come up to me and BITE ME then immediately leave (????
Is she an asshole lol. Second pic is a laceration she made previously then reopened after biting me. I just want to make clear these are not nips, she's actually biting lol
What to do? Why???

In all the years I’ve had my pair, 5yrold female n male both fixed, I’ve never seen any sexual behaviour from them until now. But the thing is it was my female jumping on the male humping him from behind and the she did it to his face. Oh my poor boy ! I felt so bad about this for him and I have no idea why a fixed female would be doing this. The poor boy is so gentle and this madam just abuses him
I couldn’t get my camera open in time to record it but here’s a generic pic of the pair. Male white. Female black.

I am finding out that there are no airlines that I can find that allow rabbits in to be in Cabin on the way to Europe. I am wondering if anyone can offer solutions to the situation. I see the shortest flight would be to Finland but that is still over 13 hours in cargo which makes me super worried.
Are there better solutions or services that I would be able to take? My bun is a 3yo Netherland dwarf and he is a healthy bunny.
Does anyone have experience with this?
Thank you very much!!!

My bun started getting startled? When I touched his back feet where his toe nails are. He was kind of jump and back away from me. I picked him up to examine and saw one of his nails looks like a stump (see video, I know it’s hard to see but I was trying to record and get a good shot with one hand)
Is it normal behavior for a bunny to not like their toes touched? I know mine hates having his nails clipped but I’m wondering if the reflexes are just a bunny thing. Thank you!

Hi Reddit,
I adopted my bunny a few months ago.
On Sunday I was grooming him and taking out his butt tufts by hand. I was pulling very gently and all of the butt tufts were coming out very easily. There was no resistance. I couldn’t tell while I was pulling them out because his tail obscured the area but I left a bald spot that is a few inches across and wide. His skin in that area is fully exposed now, is pink, and looks like human skin. It’s now 2 days later and a few red spots have emerged on the bald spot. One of the red spots looks rather wet like it’s maybe a new wound. My bunny often scratches himself so I’m assuming that he scratched at the bare skin and left a wound. I have included pictures below. What do I do? Does he need to go to the vet? How do you treat red spots (or open wounds) on bald rabbit skin? He has been acting completely normal and eating and pooping normally as well. I feel terrible. Please help me figure out if he needs to go to the vet/what I can do to help him. Thanks so much!
Note: The pictures of his pink skin are from Sunday. The pictures with his pink skin that also has red spots is from tonight (Tuesday night).

So we have a 6 year old daughter and a 4 year old son, very quiet gentle kids. We also have a male cat and a female chispaniel. Both are incredibly kind and gentle and nurturing to smaller animals. The cat bonded with our puppy from day one, never aggressive and same with the pup. We rescued her from a neglectful woman who wasn't feeding her correctly at 5 weeks old, the birth dog died in labour giving birth to her. We would like to get a bunny but just the one and I've read they need a companion to stay happy but I've also seen them get along well and be happy with dogs and cats. Any advice going forward would be appreciated. We are looking at getting a Fleming rabbit or basically any giant breed so it feels less small and more comfortable being around our large cat even though he's a gentle sweetheart. The cat has only been aggressive once and it was after we got him back from a friend after we heard he was neglected or abused which broke our hearts as we gave him to them as a kitten as a kind gesture. The second he saw he came home, he settled, cuddled and hasn't had even the slightest bit of aggression since he realised he was safe and would be fed xxx again any and all advice will be taken into account, I don't want to continue with the process unless I'm sure I can provide the home and environment needed for all species to thrive.
