Broomfield has 16,037 early votes out. As always, unaffiliated and independent voters make up the majority of the early votes.

We have 7 days until November 3rd and I encourage you make a plan to vote if you haven’t already. This is a pivotal election year and we need every vote to stop the Trump agenda in our state!

NO on everything else. Most of the other measures are supported by Advance Colorado which is a Dark Money entity supporting MAGA, Far-Right, and corporate interest groups pushing out shell companies like Brighter Colorado and Dawn Colorado. Amendment 81 for example would allow ICE collaboration operations in our state.

Spotted an orange and white (i think) cat on my way home tonight. It was crossing the street at the corner of Arista Pl. and Destination Dr. By the time I parked and went back to where I saw it I could no longer find it and was searching with another woman who had spotted it but we couldn’t find it. Hello! My husband and I have been trying for a baby for about a year now with no luck, and are wanting to get some testing done for both of us to see what's going on. The fertility health world in general is pretty overwhelming, as is finding a provider when the majority of clinics we come across have terrible reviews and it's hard to know what's legit. We are not wanting to jump straight to IVF, just looking to get some blood tests, hormone tests, sperm testing for him, etc.

Does anyone have a facility they've used and would recommend?

Looking for a very reputable pet dentist who can give my almost 4-year-old cat a good teeth cleaning. I'm always scared of the horror stories I hear about cats who don't wake up from being put under so I'd ideally like to find someone who offers twilight sedation.

I went to the airport on Friday and just got back on Sunday at 1 PM and my 1997 forerunner I had the catalytic converter stolen from it. The car next to me was a blue third gen forerunner that also had the catalytic converter stolen.

Anyone have any tips on what to do next? I called the non-emergency police line.

I’m a local parent and teacher with 16 years in the classroom, with a background in founding micro school programs, Montessori, and International Baccalaureate. I’m starting a new micro school in the area to provide an alternative educational setting that is holistic, inquiry based, and community centered.

Whats really important to me is that I create this school WITH the community, so that we can collaboratively design a system that works for our kids and isn’t something we have to fit our kids into.

I’m holding a series of Parent Hopes & Dreams conversations where parents come together and we can discuss what matters to us in the middle school years, what our pain points are, and coming up with creative and innovative ways to support our kids. The first session down in Denver was very successful, and I’m holding another one up at the Brunner Farmhouse in Broomfield on Oct 27th 7:00pm.

Showing up isn’t a commitment, I’m just curious to see what the community wants and needs and to find more families like me that aren’t satisfied with the options that currently exist. It’s not an info session either- it’s important to me that we design and build this school TOGETHER. Come stop by and make your voice heard. Parents of kids of all ages welcome!

EDIT #2: to the haters on this post, I tried them the other day. Can confirm that their food gives the vibes of being AI generated and they actually served SLOP that had little to no seasoning 😂😭 every other table was people 50+ years old (not that there’s anything wrong with that, but it’s veryyyy showing as to who cares/doesn’t care about shitty management 😳), one of which tables, was given our food by accident and they said NOTHING and continued to devour the plates…😂 i also wish i could share photos in this thread because i so badly want to show you what their season-less brussel sprouts slop looks like

i will say our waiter went above and beyond and i have no complaints regarding the employees working that night, other than the food being delivered to the wrong table, but accidents happen and that was really not much of an issue (i was just more baffled at the folks who said nothing and just devoured our food).

I know this is a strange ask lol, but have a female cat that is terrified of leaving my apartment and also does NOT like women….which makes vet appointments very challenging. She couldn’t even be touched during our last vet appointment since she was freaking out, and she just needs a basic checkup. I wanted to try in-home vet care, but I can only find female vets who do this.

Does anyone have any great MALE vet recommendations that provide in-home care? The first priority is probably finding a male vet, and then bonus points if they do in-home care. I’m in Broomfield. Thank you in advance for the suggestions!

The city is refining its 2022 plan for Midway from the Lake Link Trail to Big Dry Creek. Design is funded with federal money. Construction is not funded and has no schedule, so what gets drawn now is what gets a grant application later.

The survey is six questions plus two maps where you can pin problem spots and pick a side for the path in each segment

Included is an opinion for putting the path on the north side. The south side between Ash and Lowell is shaded in winter and holds ice for days. 

Curious whether people who walk or ride that stretch see the same thing.
