In what F**KING universe do you not bring in Misiorowski to close out the World Series?
That’s all. Nothing else. I’m speechless.

What I find the most frustrating is that we lost because of bad managerial decisions. Why give the ball to a rookie in such a spot? It’s one thing if the game was tied and didn’t wanted to use the Miz, but the game wasn’t tied we had the lead and just 3 outs away why trust a rookie in such a moment when nothing else matters except those 3 outs? Shouldn’t have taken out Senzatela he had it just because third base threw badly that wasn’t on him.
It’s incredibly frustrating because we had the chance. But my confidence is not shaken the 2026 Brewers are not the 2004 Yankees and I’m sure as hell that the 2026 Rays are not the 2004 Red Sox. The Miz is up today with rest, the offense will bring it hard and while we used the pen today a lot I’m sure our boys have one more shut out game in them. We will win this damn it!!

The mound was a disaster at the plant point tonight. I'm not sure I want Miz to pitch at the Trop. Of course there's injury risk I'm concerned about, but it might also put him at a disadvantage. Thoughts?

The results are in. This team is historically relevant. Swept the 2-time defending champs. On the verge of sweeping a team that won 105 games, including playoffs. Emerging superstars. Fourth starter, a rookie, one-hits the Rays through six. Bullpen is lights out. There's so much here, we have to start looking at this team in the context of the greatest season teams. If they sweep the Rays, and even if they win the Series anyway, this team is historically significant.

What do you guys think? Was a typical "game after a rout" but there is no next week. Is Miz able to go 5 innings tomorrow or do we wait til Friday if necessary? Also, after four games, teams tend to figure each other out a bit. Do we need a fresh approach or just keep grinding knowing we only need one more for the pendant?

Hi Wisco,
Here’s my Old Fashioned Mix.
I'm a transplant and have grown to love Old Fashioneds ( OF's). The one thing I said to my wife is that I would learn to make her OF's. Here's my take and Go Brewers!
Syrup #1
Simple syrup:
100 grams sugar
50 grams water
Syrup #2
150 grams maple syrup
.5-1.0 oz Ango bitters
1oz Luxardo cherry syrup
6 dashes orange bitters
1-2 dash vanilla extract
Mix Syrup #1 and Syrup #2 together which we'll call Syrup #3
Then take Syrup #3 and mix 1:1 ratio with Gran Mariner, Cointreau, or another dry curaçao. This is your final Old Fashioned mix(OF mix). I usually batch this out and keep a gallon or so stored in the basement.
Although shelf stable, I keep a squeeze bottle of this in the fridge.
Muddle your cherries and orange with about 1/2-3/4 oz of the OF mix. Then add your brandy, bourdon or rye. Don't forget your ice and sweet/sour. I know it's criminal here, but if you want a traditional/Non-Wisco OF, skip the sweet/sour. Play with the OF mix to spirit ratio to your liking.
Apple Old Fashioned Mix:
Substitute apple bitters for orange bitters and apple brandy or schnapps for dry curaçao. Then, get yourself a quality Apple Brandy to enjoy. I keep the cherries, skip the orange and add an apple slice for garnish.
Hopefully we'll get to enjoy a few of these this evening for a big win!
Edit: OF is Old Fashioneds, not Only Fans. Different sub for that.

I wish we could dress our little reddit avatar in Brewer jerseys/shirts and put a Brewer hat on. That would be cool.

Interesting connection with how the Rays acquired both Junior Caminero and Yandy Diaz in trades that involved both Jake Bauers and former Brewer Tobias Myers (and technically Carlos Santana as well).
Trade:
Junior Caminero
Yandy Díaz

I came across a part of a hype video that started with covering some of the previous players like Fielder, Braun and Sabathia. I can’t find the whole video but hoping someone know what I’m talking about??
