Sunderland v Brentford Carabao Cup team news: Rico Henry ruled out through injury
brentfordfc.comSeeing Henry ruled out is frustrating, especially when we need options across the squad. Hopefully it's not a long spell on the sidelines.

Carabao cup match in central London?
Hi all,
As above, I'm not a local but come in peace, I'm in London for the day and thought I'd ask you wise folk if you know of anywhere in fairly central London showing the game vs Sunderland?
Thanks in advance lads and lasses!

Away Cup Match at Sunderland: Traveling Solo, Looking for Pre-Match Plans
Hey all, I have just moved to London from the U.S. and (having supported the team for about four years) have decided to make the trip up to Sunderland next week. I'm traveling solo and am curious if any group has made plans for a certain pub pre-match, etc. I suspect the supporters' groups are good with that sort of thing but I don't know where to look. Looking forward to the match and meeting some other Bees along the way. Cheers.

Can Brentford stop making things harder for themselves?
I felt the second yellow card in the 92nd minute summed up a really frustrating evening for Brentford against Liverpool. We were already chasing the result, and losing another player at that stage was the last thing the we needed.

Keane Lewis-Potter keeps giving Brentford something going forward
Lewis-Potter has been a useful option for Brentford because of the way he finds space and gets involved in attacking moves. His goal against Liverpool was a good example of how he can make an impact in the final third. He can keep building on performances like that and become an even bigger threat for the team.

Brentford shouldn't lose the edge that makes them difficult to play against
One thing I like about Brentford is that they don't need to pretend they're a bigger club than they are. The best performances have come when they make opponents uncomfortable, compete for second balls and take their chances rather than trying to look pretty for the sake of it.
The Liverpool game started with that kind of promise, especially with Lewis-Potter getting the opener. The problem was that the match became about the red cards instead of whether Brentford could sustain that approach.
I don't think the answer is to become more cautious in every game. But there's a difference between playing aggressively and giving the opposition an advantage through avoidable mistakes.

Yehor Yarmoliuk's red card completely changed the Liverpool game
We were in a position to get something from the match, but the dismissal before half-time made the second half a completely different challenge. I understand emotions run high, especially against a team like Liverpool, but you simply cannot make it that difficult for your teammates. What bothers me most is how much the incident took away from what had been a competitive performance.
