Can i get some feedback?

My former partner ended our relationship and has been intermittently ghosting me. She specifically mentioned that she mostly texts one person and this one person is someone she finds attractive but apparently does not like. I recognize she is not required to message me, yet I would like to rebuild our connection; it feels as though I am kept around because I am easy. She does send occasional texts, but I am often left on delivered for several hours while I know she is using her phone with others, which feels disrespectful. I suppose I am unsure—once I told her that her silence bothered me, and she replied, “Why do you care? Nobody else cares, only you. It’s just who I am, and I have always been like this.” That hurts. We parted on good terms, so I feel she should respect me enough to want to text. It aligns with the idea that they do not love or respect you enough to be consistent; she seems to care only about her new friends, who are mostly men because her workplace is all men. I guess my attention and presence dont even matter anymore.

Hi there, Im sorry your dealing with this. It must be hard for you especially since she's already talking to other guys. Imo it doesn't seem like she's interested in you anymore. I know that sucks to hear but my best advice is for you to move on and invest your time into someone who cares about you enough to consistently chat with you. Just remember you cant control what she does and she no longer has an obligation to you.

I am sorry your ex is keeping you in limbo. I had an ex do this intermittently for a few years. I was in, he was in when it was convenient for him. What I can tell you is that after all this time, we were incompatible. Our expectations were not the same, I really relate to your texting/silence example. I had the exact same conversation with my ex and he made it seem that I was wrong for expecting a response or communication from him. This is just a sign of incompatibility, that’s okay. Since then; I found someone that IS compatible with me and makes me feel like I am their true partner. Don’t ever let someone diminish your light and your needs. The person for you is not this ex and you WILL find the right person. I now look at my past breakup as a gift. The longer I stayed in limbo, the less chances I would have met or be open and ready to meet the current love of my life. I highly recommend the book “Attached”.

Shes lost respect for you

She doesn't care for you

Look at her actions not what she is saying.

You should respect yourself and your time more. I would nto be pouring into someone who is not matching my energy. Its just a waste of time in my opinion
