Politics You guys should be proud of Lula and Dilma, I certainly envy you a lot right now

I know it’s a very dividing topic and I’m not saying Lula or Dilma are perfect (I personally hate the worship of any politician). But I’m watching your elections from a European country where the last 40 years of right wing governments have set us back to the lowest rankings in Europe on many fundamental variables that include economic growth, jobs, salaries, education, corruption, birth rates, my people’s happiness and wellbeing…. And it has impacted us so negatively that it’s impossible to ignore at this point. Social mobility is pretty non existing too: I know for a fact someone from a poor background would never be able to sit at the tables Lula has been sitting.
The mental toll of living somewhere with increasingly worse standards of living rubs us of hope and young talent.

We do not have ANY competent and charismatic politicians on the left that are able to turn things around the way Lula e Dilma have done in the past decades.
So watching Brazil is very inspiring and I hope it will have a little bit of a ripple effect in Europe as well.
Be proud of having someone who actually gives a shit about your country and thanks for beating the odds ❤️

Education & Exchange Education in Brazil

Fala pessoal, I’m an American living in Brazil for three years now. What I’ve noticed is the crazy amount of evangelical church ratios to schools and libraries. There will be a small interior city with 120 churches of the same denomination and 30 public schools & 1 library (these are real statistics I did not make this up) why do we let the communities grow rapidly in churches & not in education ?? This is crazy to me. I think there should be a limit on churches per city of the same religion. I’m thinking of writing a letter to a mayor around where I live but who knows if he’ll even care. And I don’t even know where to even begin lol. If you agree with me how should I approach it ?
And I don’t care for the people who say gringos should not get involved in other countries politics. Our presidents will mix our politics anyways at the end of the day 🥴
