I’ve heard terrible things about this character. Why do you support him? I’d like to understand

Just left Orlando… plenty of seção with long lines. Thankfully mine was empty. I was in & out in less than 5 mins.

It's so easy to vote for the destruction of your country when you live in the 1st world. I cannot understand how anyone could possibly vote for Lula with a clean conscience.

Man, do you even listen to the shit Flavio says? Lula is stable- a continuation of what we got from 2003-11. Nothing out of this world- but he’s not incompetent, and neither does he praise the dictatorship, say teenage girls inspire sexual tension, or defend child murders in court.

I didn't realize Brazil was being destroyed.
What metrics are you using behind such dramatic language?

u/Reasonable_Draft_858 1d ago
Imagine voting for a guy who defended a cop that killed a 5 year old for free, is pro-guns and with a liberal agenda that turned Argentina into caos? I think reasonable people keep that in mind

You believe Brazil is a third-world country?
4
u/ShootWild 2d ago
Yes, Brazil is a low-income third-world country.

u/Banjo_Fett 2d ago
Interesting. So how is Lula planning to destroy it?
1
u/ShootWild 2d ago
That’s not what I said.
I said Brazil is a third-world country. I have lived for 10 years in the US and I have been to 20+ countries. Third and first world. I compare Brazil with some African countries.
Brazil is behind even some Eastern European countries now.
Low income per capita, slums, weak job market, half of population without basic sanitation. You can’t walk outside without fearing for your cellphone.
The STF is politically inclined and corrupted. Brazilians have to choose between Lula, the protagonist of major corruption scandals, versus another corrupted politician, Bolsonaro.
It’s bad, you live in a bubble. You probably got used to all that, and think it’s normal.

I know right, it's insane... Sad to see what happens to such a beautiful country when people don't educate themselves.
3
u/Ambidextrousblack 2d ago
They have educated themselves, hence the easy Lula vote.
Bolsonaro supporters by and large are some of the dumbest human beings walking the planet.

Agora pergunta se querem voltar pro Brasil pra curtir o governo do painho
14
u/R363lScum 2d ago
Sim. Retorno recorde de brasileiros do exterior em 2026. Mais de 5 milhões voltaram.
-15
u/jupacaluba 2d ago
u/AskGrok is it true that in 2026 a record number of Brazilians living abroad returned to Brazil? What about the number of Brazilians leaving the country?

Talvez prefiram continuar no Canada curtindo o governo de outro LIBERAL PROGRESSISTA. E você, por que não desce a fronteira pra ser perseguido pelo ICE?

Lives in Canada and wants a communist to win smh...

Well this one is easy to explain. Toronto is one of the most liberal cities in one of the most liberal countries. It’s an unlikely place to be chosen as an immigration destination among those that are conservative leaning.
3
u/RandomREProblems 2d ago
I understand that part, I'm born and raised in Toronto. And the right wing here is growing. Infact our Premier is probably going to be re-elected in 2 years (conservative).
My question is, who so the communist he is referring to? I am certain there aren't any communist in the runoff.
4
u/TheKeenomatic 2d ago
That’s a fair question, I just didn’t go down that route because Brazilian conservatives typically won’t accept that Lula is anything but Stalin’s second coming.
-5
u/TheRealZiiks 2d ago
PT is Brazil's left wing party, where they are voting in one of the most corrupt presidents in histoy who was convicted for corruption and money laundering...
7
u/RandomREProblems 2d ago
The PT party is not a communist party. It's a center left party. This is low effort.
