So a while back my 3.5 year old caught a few glimpses of Bob’s Burgers on some evenings when we were particularly exhausted. We were hesitant to let him watch a whole episode. We aren’t big on screens and Louise’s language gets colorful. Well, by then end of a long week he was requesting the taffy factory like it was Bluey.

The other week when taking off his socks at bedtime, he presented his foot to me and giggled “Lick like you like it!” That was it. No more Taffy Factory.

We thought it was over until tonight he called the dog a “sticky bastard”. We asked him over and over where he heard words Ike that and then it dawned on me. Louise. Louise is a bad influence.

At least maybe we have a show we can watch as a family when he gets older.

Carved our pumpkins tonight! Linda's neck came out really skinny but I'm happy with how her glasses finished up. I've tried that sort of scraping thing before but this is the best I've done!

Recently my husband and I have been quoting this all the time any time something is going wrong or just general irritation, the perfect comic relief, “WHAT IS IT NOW RABBI ROSENBERG, WHAT IS IT NOW”

my unpopular opinion is that the brunchsquatch episode (the fan draw episode) is over hated and/or criticized.

I know people will talk about how the story is good but the changing on the art style is what turns them off… but surely there are plenty of other episodes one can say they dislike. personally, i like the episode and i like the different artwork. also, when i recollect the episode i never remember it as having different artwork, i remember as a standard episode. which i think is a true testament to the show and the writers/creater.

During slow-motion tv and movie scenes, I say in a low voice: "They love my ziti."

Now my wife is beating me to it. 😂 It's infectious.

I love this episode so much. I lost my parents at a very young age. And whenever I watch this episode (or the show), it feels like a warm hug..the local she ro has the best music and how Tina and Linda bond over the hidden treasures of the city reminds me of my mother and taking a walk in the town. I love this episode so much.

I was watching the episode where Tammy has to stay with the Belchers and noticed a familiar face at the cruise ship bar with her parents.

I know this sub is for fans of Bob's burgers so a complimentary post is not surprising but I really want to sing the praises of these 2 episodes. From the animation the direction, the homages to scifi specifically Blade runner on top of a great, emotional, character driven Tina episode it really is so great. I could go on forever about these episodes but I really think this is the show at its very best. What does everyone else think?

Rewatching Bobs Burger. I came across the food truck episode. It got me thinking

Did Dina/Tina really lie? I mean, yes she did. But if you think about it. Bob uses fresh ingredients. So im some of the stuff she said was actually true.

Except for the soy/bison part

Eric Bauza was also the new voices of Jimmy Pesto and Big Bob. Even ignoring those, an unimaginable tragedy

Who would have guessed that it would 75 in October, regardless we had to make a last minute shift.

I was today years old when I realized the song they parody for the “Empathize” video is "The Message" by Grandmaster Flash.

I usually love Tina and would just go as her, but who could pass up the Sherlockness Monster?!

This is my birthday gift from my wife. Yes, she is awesome. It is inspired by one of my favorite paintings of kids imagining they are playing zombies on a playground. The painting is on acrylic on a 24” x 36” canvas.

We just had to drive 6 hours to Wisconsin for a wedding and 6 hours back over this weekend. During the drive there and back we listened to the burgers the entire time. It was fun to listen and hear little jokes and quips we had missed previously while watching it. As the driver for the entire trip there and back it was nice to have something fun to focus on that didn’t take my attention away from the road. As much as I enjoy music it can be hard to listen to music for that long without feeling overstimulated or annoyed by it. But we never get tired of our favorite show.
