Stop Calling Your Bikes "Girls"
Scenic backdrops are great, but this is a BIKEporn subreddit.
What is Bike Porn?
Bike Porn is any bike that is beautiful and/or uncommon. An old school Colnago, a custom build fixed gear, a team issue road bike, a tricked out mountain bike and more. If it's sitting on your local bike store floor, it's probably not bike porn.
If you just wish to post your own bicycle you've recently purchased then /r/EverydayRide might be the more appropriate subreddit.

First saw this frameset in Copenhagen around 2011 and fell in love. At that time, the frameset was way out of my budget, at 1500euros so I started dreaming.
In 2019 I was looking to replace my first track bike and found this frameset on a web store in the UK, as a showroom bike(light use, some scuffs) and called them immediately to ask them to hold it for me until the evening, so I can wire the money.
I'll probably get buried with this bike.
Very stiff and agile when sprinting, but quite comfortable for a track bike.

$500 for a neglected bike from FB marketplace, built up with parts I had lying around. The exception is $65 for some 38cm Ritchey Classic Butano drop bars — ostensibly a “gravel” bar but they have a great profile and flare for crit racing. Plus they’re silver and they go with the PRO cockpit that I painted silver with spray can automotive paint.
I’m reluctant to throw any more money into this just yet, but I guess I’d like some power meter pedals first. Deep carbon wheels would be nice for racing but I kind of like the shallow rim look.
Oh, and this bike as jarring and stiff as I remember.

Custom paint. SRAM Force and Enve SES 4.5s. 100x36 stock bars (Canwin Zephyr SSL). Built it up 6 months ago or so. This post is also largely meant for /u/Any-Zookeepergame309 who I’m sure will absolutely love it. Cheers.

New Bike Day (Kinda). Bought the bike off Marketplace and converted it to a drop bar. Feels much quicker and more aero. Also upgraded the wheels and changed the drivetrain to GRX 12 Speed 1-by. Plan to use the bike for some bikepacking, commuting, gravel rides and perhaps some racing (if UCI allows the funky frame).
Thanks for reading and happy riding! 😄 ❤️

Sourced and built this 1x TCR setup for long-distance self-supported rides for a friend on a budget. Bulletproof mechanical 1x GRX, Mavic carbon wheels, Conti 30mm tires and Rhinowalk frame bags. I’m not happy about bartape/tire sidewall colour, and I would opt for 32mm tires… but hey - he gotta be him! 😎

Very cool and custom steel bicycle, built by Skip Hujsak, a custom framebuilder from the Austin/Fredericksburg, Texas area who built frames during the 1980s and early ’90s.
Converted the bike to 650B to create a fast, comfortable all-road/gravel setup while retaining the character of the original custom frame. It currently clears 38mm Panaracer GravelKing tires, set up tubeless on Velo Orange rims. The result is a great combination of vintage steel ride quality with considerably more tire volume than a traditional road bike of this era.
The build mixes some particularly nice vintage components with practical modern touches:
- 57cm Hujsak with matching vintage Silca frame pump
- Shimano Dura-Ace 7400, 8-speed
- Crank: 170mm, 52/39
- Cassette: approximately 13–28
- Shifters: Shimano Sora 9-speed STI — indexing works extremely well with the 8-speed drivetrain. Better ergonomics then the 7400 shifters
- Velo Orange long-reach brake calipers
- Wheels: 32-spoke Velo Orange 650B rims laced to vintage White Industries hubs
- Panaracer GravelKing 650B × 38, tubeless tires
- Brooks Swift Saddle
- Ritchey 27.2mm Seatpost
- 3TTT stem with Soma Highway One Handlebars

One thing I was excited about when I turned 50! I rode my J. Guillem Major (size 60) for the first time.
Also made some additional mods:
- Titanium seatpost clamp
- Enve SES AR Road handlebar
- Enve Road stem
- Favero Assioma MX-1 Pro pedals
First introduction of my Major.
UPDATE
Yesterday I bought a Enve Aero stem and will buy a Enve seatpost. And only then I am done with the upgrades for this year.
