4-Function Logic Calculator

A working calculator built with Besiege’s standard logic gates and timers. Supports addition, subtraction, multiplication, and integer division, with inputs and results from 0 to 9999.

Features:

  • Four-digit 7-segment display
  • Numpad controls with indicators on the left
  • Switchable quotient and remainder display
  • LED-skinned logic arranged by function
  • Shared arithmetic circuit, optimized to 898 blocks

Controls

  • Numpad 0–9: Enter numbers
  • Numpad + / − / * / ÷: Select an operation
  • Enter: Calculate
  • Tab: Toggle quotient/remainder after division
  • Delete / Numpad decimal: Clear or cancel a calculation
  • F: Display camera

Enter a number, select an operation, enter another number, then press Enter. Wait for the busy indicator to turn off before entering the next command.

Try these:

  • 9998 + 1 = 9999
  • 99 × 101 = 9999
  • 3999 ÷ 2 = 1999, remainder 1

Multiplication and division run over multiple cycles, so some calculations take a while. Negative results, results above 9999, and division by zero display EEEE.

All arithmetic and display logic run inside the machine. No external calculation scripts are needed.
