Man waved at Dog
I’m in a downtown city I’ve never visited before. Earlier I went walking around and picked up some lunch. On my way back to the hotel I stopped behind a middle aged man and young woman walking her furry little pupper as we waited for the crosswalk. The woman was on her phone, the man was looking straight ahead. At one point I saw the man and the dog lock eyes for a long moment. The dog wagged his little tail and cocked his head at bit toward the man. Then the man gave a little wave to the dog in return. It was spontaneously sweet and I witnessed it. The light changed and we all disappeared into the crowd.

You want a great moment? Tell the pupper who is guarding the car at the top of his lungs what a good job he is doing.
Makes my day two or three times a week!

Nothing to do with this but I was in a park recently and watched a little girl take her first six solo pedals on her bike, being encouraged by her mum. Oh man!! The joy on that kid’s face, and the grin on my face! It was wonderful!

I waved at a dog this morning while walking my dog. He was sitting comfortably with his head on the back of the couch, just enjoying looking out.

I find myself waving back and smiling at small children and dogs, while in traffic. It is just the happiest of moments!
