Tried the sheer nude pencil brow hack and it flopped
I finally tried the bleached brow makeup hack everyone's been doing with the Too Cool For School Frottage pencil in #9 Sheer Nude, where you use it to knock the color out of your brows. I wanted a light brow color without actually bleaching anything.
It went really badly. 😂Maybe I'm just bad at it, but it smudged all over the skin under my brows, went on dry and cakey, and the pearly powder ended up on my lashes too. I accidentally turned into a glitter person lol. I gave it a few more tries and then gave up.
After that I started looking for a brow cara in a light shade instead. My sister uses Espoir Color Fixing Cara in Fake Bleach, so I borrowed hers, and honestly it made me realize I'd basically been coloring in my skin with a pencil this whole time. It doesn't get on the skin at all, and it toned down my really dark brows completely. If you want lighter brows, just using a light brow cara is the way to go.
