Optional MMBN4 Playthroughs

I have NEVER done more than a single playthrough of any version of MMBN4. So, should I do it now on the Legacy Collection?

Yes but take breaks. 4 is a fun game with great music and enough engagement to keep it exciting if and only if you take breaks after a play through. It's not an unfun battle network game, just tedious because people try and rush it all at once

Fair enough. I was gonna move to Team Protoman after this. I played Colonel to death, and despite it having some of my fav souls, it will be cool to play a different version with some other of my favorite souls

Good choice my person. That's what I've been doing with this collection over the years. I've played all the other versions I didnt play growing up and it's really fun.

I seem to be the minority, but I LOVED BN4. One of my favorite games as a kid. Next favorite story to BN3.

My biggest issue has always been Duo. And the random situations. But it has some of my favorite souls. Search Soul, Roll Soul, and Torch Soul all came from this game.

I loved the Duo plotline. It felt like 2 games in one. Darkchips, "judgement day", and everyone bonding together to prove that Good can defeat Evil...pretty heavy for a kid but was pretty cool IMO even looking back now

Load yourself up with a powerful folder and just power through the game.

I wouldn't worry about "post game" stuff unless it's important to you (RoahmMythril has pretty much everything recorded in his BN4 LP so you can still see what happens).

Some of the endgame Double Souls are excellent to play around with. You didn't specify which BN4 so the only souls I know you didn't get are FireSoul and NumberSoul since those aren't possible on a first playthrough.

I HIGHLY recommend having something running in the background for the tedious moments if you decide to continue playthroughs.

Regardless of your choice, in the end the point is to have fun.

Im playing Red Sun as I like a majority of its souls over Blue Moons. Roll, Search, and Torch souls are my favorites from BN4

Ahhh you're an NT Warrior fan if you're calling him TorchMan. Guts, Wind, and Thunder souls are the others available and Wind and Thunder aren't the greatest.

In my experience there are fewer “good” souls in Red Sun compared to Blue Moon, but Search Soul is just completely broken

Yea, it's still a high chance that you get them early. iirc I always got them in game 1 and game 2

Honestly I thought I was going to rush the credits for every game except 6 but now that I've gotten 100% on 6 I feel kinda sad so I'm going to go back to the earlier ones. The games are good enough to warrant it, I think.

I once played through Red Sun 3 times, then Blue Moon 3 times right after.

Underrated game. But it helps using Number Trader as soon as possible, this game has terrible chips.

Absolutely not. Play a better game as soon as you can. We're not so desperate for games we need to play bad ones to feel something.
