29M from Taguig, family of 3 (me, wife & child), sawa na sa condo living and planning to reloc sa Batangas. Not sure if this is the right avenue to ask these questions but, here we go 🤣

Purchased two lots in San Juan (Palahanan II & Laiya Ibabao).
-both lots are not in exclusive subdivision pero it seems a nice neighborhood naman.
-bought it for possible residential, business & retirement home purposes.
-was thinking of raising my kid in San Juan, kasi parang ang peaceful. feeling ko maganda magiging childhood nung anak ko. May option siyang mag swimming sa beach araw araw lol.
-kaso narealize ko, di ako nakapag research about schools & opportunities there.
-hindi ko rin na-experience tumira sa province. Big step siya saken/samen.

Question to San Juan peeps:
-peaceful ba talaga there? like, ok ba quality of life if you are a kid who's going to be raised there.
-kumusta schools there, compared sa Manila & other city/municipality in Batangas.

bonus question: should I stay in Manila or invest on other city/municipality in Batangas (ex. Lipa) just to have access on nice schools? May nagustuhan akong exclusive subd in Lipa and there's a DLSU there so ok siya pero, parang wala na yung "peaceful" vibe sa Lipa (traffic, kinda unsafe due to multiple crimes that happened there recently like akyat bahay/theft, murder, road rage etc.).

P.S. WFH kami ni wife na balak mag solar if mag reloc in Batangas.

Dumating ako ng 8am dito kasi 8am naman daw talaga ang simula ng event. Pagdating ko pa lang madami nang tao. Karamihan samin hindi alam na isinabay pala at same venue yung TUPAD.

Pagpasok namin karamihan samin nagtanong sa staff kung san pupunta. Sabi nila umupo daw sa taas. Umupo kami tapos nakita namin sa baba na madami nang nakapila sa booth ng employers. Tapos bumaba kami, nakipila din. Tapos mga 9:30AM saka lang kami sinabihan ng isang staff (yung naka mic) na yung may number lang daw pala ang ie-entertain ng employers. Eh wala naman nagsasabi samin na mayroon palang kailangang ganun. Wala naman nagsabi samin nung entrance pa lang, kaya karamihan samin eh naguguluhan at di alam kung san pupunta.

Pinalabas kami at pinapila sa numero. Dito na nagkagulo at nagka-ipitan. May nahimatay pa. Tapos isang oras ako nakapila, naubusan daw ng number. Wala ding nangyari sa pagpila ko para dun sa number. Ewan ko bakit ang tagal eh isang maliit na piraso lang naman ng papel yung number.

Tapos pumila na lang kami dun sa booth ng employers, may number man o wala. Walang organization sa pagpila. Oo aaminin ko, parehong kasalanan yun ng tao at ng organizer kasi walang disiplina ang madami kahapon. Madaming nasingit sa pila. Magulo talaga.

Dahil nga nasa gitna nung venue yung upuan ng mga TUPAD, hindi rin naman kami makapila ng ayos kasi walang space. Ang talino talaga ng organizer nito kung meron man kasi hindi man lang inisip yung logistics ng saan pipila ang mga applikante 🙄

Worst job fair ever. Sana naman ayusin nyo. Mahirap na nga ang tao eh jino-joke time nyo pa. Parang winalanghiya kami kahapon.

I found routes that says I could go to Buendia Bus Terminal to Lemery pero I check the websites of the buses and wala nakalagay na papuntang lemery. Even messaged JAM Liner to confirm and they said wala. Messaged DLTB too pero walang reply.

Batangas used to feel relatively peaceful, pero with all these reports circulating lately, it's starting to feel scary, especially for people who regularly go out at night, commute, or travel alone.

I'm genuinely curious if there's a reason behind these incidents or if they're completely unrelated cases.

Sa mga taga-Batangas, especially Lipa residents, have you noticed this too? Do you still feel safe in your area?

before anything else, yes i used the search button na in the sub to get an idea and familiar na ako sa iba’t ibang gyms sa area na tinatarget ko (bauan-san pascual- bats city). i will soon be moving back sa btg pala from metro

currently kasi sa metro my routine is go to the gym around 5:30am before i go to my 8am work. pero upon checking halos 6 am yung pinakamaaga magbukas na gym sa batangas. i know may AF but i can’t afford it yet. and another 24 hr sa may pallocan yung daily whey pero out of the way kasi i will be coming from san pascual area and will be working around kumintang bats city.

I am also considering to go na lang after work but i hate the crowddd. pero baka sakali lang na may gym na bearable yung dami ng tao kahit peak hours yun.

gusto ko lang malaman ang situation and yung crowd sa iba’t-ibang gym especially after work hours (5pm onwards) or sa morning around 6am. and also if may showers ba and malinis ba sya?

plus points too if air conditioned, im eyeing the following gyms as of now:
L&J, brown house, the forge, daily whey fitness, zafira, but im pretty much open sa recos. pls pls share ur experiences po sa mga gym goers dyan thank youu
